Nope, not related. A lot of Gundam series have a haro in them - the original gundam had one, as did victory gundam. The haro in Zeta is actually the same one as the one in the original. Haro's are kinda like a mascot for Gundam.

Why no Gunbuster? It may have only been a six-episode OVA, but it more or less brought about the revival of the Super Robot genre. That, and it is, in my personal opinion, the best mecha anime ever.

Oh my god...the jump in the quality "cool factor" of the mecha design with Z Gundam alone is HUGE. It's so painfully obvious now why really Gundam alone has survived as the preeminent mecha series.
I wonder of Japan has secretly built actual mobile suits and there just biding there time for the right time to take over the planet with highly mobile and capable battle mech suits! That would rule!

The opening for both was the first opening for each series. The title Mobile Suits doesn't even appear in their respective series until about the halfway mark, when the opening was changed.
And while on the topic of Zeta Gundam openings, I have only one more thing to say...
lol, you are too funny. If you know the history of each series, the Z gunda and ZZ gundam weren't even designed when these series were first air'd. Take it down a knotch...lol

Ah Zeta Gundam... the apex of gundam... it goes downwards after that, reaching a all time low with Wing, although SEED destiny was pretty awfull too...and sadly enough it shows no sign of getting better...

I'm wondering if some one can help me. I'm looking for a tv series that i saw when i was little. It was one every sunday in the years 1990-1997. All i can remember was there humans in a space shuttle that were attacked and only a couple survived and landed seperated on a planet. They got a power to turn into a robot. thats all i can really remember if you some one knows what i'm talking about pls reply.

Why no Gunbuster? It may have only been a six-episode OVA, but it more or less brought about the revival of the Super Robot genre. That, and it is, in my personal opinion, the best mecha anime ever.

Oh my god...the jump in the quality "cool factor" of the mecha design with Z Gundam alone is HUGE. It's so painfully obvious now why really Gundam alone has survived as the preeminent mecha series.

The opening for both was the first opening for each series. The title Mobile Suits doesn't even appear in their respective series until about the halfway mark, when the opening was changed.
