Too much air brush and/or soft brush in my opinion, makes the work look "fuzzy" and not so crisp, but pretty good job.

@gravi1ty I think they were going for that sort of style - this is set in the 1960s, I think they were trying to go for the style of the time. I dunno though, I'm still in high school :D.

In fact, Major Tom happens to be a James Bond fanatic. Save enough times in MGS3 and you'll see.

If you download a trail run, you only get to use that program for a specific number of days right? The program won't continue running after those days are over right? I wanted to use a trial run of Corel Painter X but wasn't sure. If you could give me an answer I'd be very grateful.

Well yeah, it's not called a trial period without a reason. It's so you can test the program. They mostly run for 30 days after which you have to register the program or you won't be able to use it.

Do you need a fast computer to run programs like corel painter x and photoshop?

programs like SAI and opencanvas can run on low memory. Others like photoshop and corel need more. Yeah you can run it at 512mb but your pc will slow down on you if you do too much. 1GB should be the minimum IMO. Luckily 1gb ram is SOOO much more cheaper than they were a few years ago

Really good work, the muscle jobs is a master piece, but i think its quite impossible to swing a sword like that... i just imagine him cutting his own hand off. Not that it matters to him, I mean he is like the Black Knight of the MGS story.

Yeah I kinda gave up on photoshop after seeing the potential on other programs, Photoshop isn't for drawing, mostly manipulation and doing some final touch ups like textures.

i used a fine point airbrush tool.

I simply created a layer to do all the coloring and once I was done with using the rough sketch, I put it as invisible

Camtasia which actually record high quality stuff but I always try different methods of compression, and this method failed, otherwise it would have been super fly awesome quality

What did you compress it as because there's no high quality option? I had to type it in myself.

Well finding the right compression is hard but encoding something is much more difficult. Took me 4 days to encode AMV. ^_^

Actually I already have my settings set to have everything come up as HD or HQ but the problem was adobe premiere. I had it set to an HD output to test it but the settings turned out horrible so I'm just going to stick with the original widescreen format and compress it with virtualdub
