There is a large cat fish swimming in a lake. You catch him, take him home and eat him. As you eat him you tell yourself its a shame you have to end his life, but what use is he swimming in the lake, there are others to replace him. You could have spared him, but he would have been replaced by another. To fish, humans are a large beast. If a large beast is to come, take you home and eat you, what is the difference? The difference is, none different than the fishes fate.

How do you know when are only alive once? The fact that we're here now proves it is possible that we've been here before. Now, if you said our ego is alive only once, that I would agree with. When the brain dies, the ego dies. But if you believe we are indeed eternal spirits, well then, why limit your belief to one life? It is unknowable and anyone who says different is deceiving themselves and attempting to deceive those around him.

I know this contrandicts your beliefs, but Jesus would never convict you of sin because He has a higher love of letting you experience the consequences of your actions so you can learn from them and transcend yourself.
Sinning does NOT exist because all beings have free will to make any choices based on their own level on consiousness, and Jesus will never break the law of free will, and force you to make any choices that you aren't ready for. Instead He wll help you to improve.

Guilt leads to sorrow which should then lead to repentance and therefore spiritual growth. So it is similar to what you said above if I am understanding you.
