Urahara is not evil, he is a Japanese stock character (i.e. used in many stories, stereotype character). You can compare him to Jiraiya, Kaede, L, etc. He plays the middle ground, usually bringing information. Everything he does is for a reason. (And he rocks!)

i think urahara is evil cuz heres my facts: why did urahara send only ichigo,sado and ishida into heuco mundo,

my 2nd facts might be a spoiler cuz i read the manga. the second fact is why did it took 2 months for urahara to open a gate to heuco mundo to send the captains to heuco mundo. it only took like 5 minutes to open the gate to heuco mundo when urahara was opening the gate for ichigo. (sorry for bad grammar)
