For ppl that have problems on win7 go into the RA directory and rite click on RA95.exe then click capability and set it to win 95 and also run as an admin

there's nothing really wrong with ra3, just balanced specially the soviets,(not so much overpowered Kirov, 1 bomb 1hit and kill on most structures, apoc tanks removed anti air, as in attack with many apoc as you can...where's strategy there?

@killette2 M.A.D tank is only for Soviet. I don't use it when playing. I just like to mess around with it. M.A.D tank - "The Mutual assured destruction (M.A.D.) Tank is a fierce weapon can destroy any base if given the chance. By deploying this tank near any structure, it will build up energy and explode resulting in about 44% damage to all buildings in the surrounding area. " Just be careful not to use it around your own buildings cause you can destroy your own base with it as well.

@denisg123 Yes, get Red Alert The Aftermath and Red Alert Counterstrike and download patch 3.03 and they fight on their own. I like when they stop fighting though, more kills.

You never heard of expansion packs? They add stuff to the game? I have all the expansion packs for Red Alert. There are two expansion packs for Red Alert. One of the expansion packs is called The After-math, and the other one is called Counter-strike.

@shahafsagi yes it does have 2 expansions, counterstrike and aftermath, also your link lets you download the soviet and allied discs as ISOs there is a better install by n3trunn3r that lets you install the Entire game onto the computer(with expansions) and play it without the discs

it also features an online multiplayer (no dial up setup needed)

lol, it's been awhile since i've messed with it but there's a file in it that attempts to install WC (but usually fails) so there's another file with the Exact same name but with a _ in front of the file name, remove the _ and have it overwrite the old file and Done!

I really liked RA1's map editor, it allows for some pretty unique creations. something that is lost in RA2

Also, RA1 is ancient, i was playing it when i was 7 years old, the cartoony looking graphics are (to me) part of its charm.
