Music doesn't fit with the scenes. Besides, Angel is about a dark hero, big difference with Batman cause everyone knows Batman is out there, with Angel, the city doesn't know him, it's much more quite. I always personally loved the music for the shows intro.

I believe they are equals. In crazy stuff of course Spike is cooler, but in deeds to mankind, not to impress or get in a certain slayer's pants (Buffy XD) Angel has done way more deeds than Spike. Hell even Angelus has done several good deeds without even knowing it lol.
