its a tough film about the life of a poor maori family in new zealand, led by Jake the Muss (the wifebeater) and his good wife Beth. It contains scenes of domestic violence, rape and suicide. So I wouldnt watch it if you wanted cheering up. This last scene is when the rapist gets some sort of rough justice, but i wouldnt say it ends on a happy note either.

I have seen WBOTBH several times. The guy in that "Sonny" wasn't in the first one, if he was he wouldn't look 20+ (only 5 year gap between films). You see the young chubby boy at the funeral for afew seconds, but thats his only appearance. I'm positive the little girl from the first one doesn't even feature. You do see Mark/Boogie at the funeral but thats it. Then theres Tanya and Mookie(sp) who are Sonny's friends
