I love Michael and his music, but let's be honest here - Michae hadn't released any new music in almost a decade when he died, and was known more for his problems and sad mess of a life than his unparalelled talent. I love Michael but it was so hard to watch his life spiral out of control. When he died it was a relief to enjoy his music rather than focus on the insanity

Michael didn't die because of drug abuse. He died because of recklessness..How many doctors you know would give a person lethal amounts of an anesthetic and then leave them unattended for several minutes to talk on the phone with their girlfriend? and on top of that, perform CPR on a bed, and wait 30 minutes before finally calling 911?

He did say the right things in all the best he could this lawyer. The important thing is he mentioned the introduction of pain killers (broken leg, broken vertebrae, burned scalp) and mentioned that those allegations were just plain FALSe. I love MJ and whenever I hear people defend Michael in this way they are okay!

Being the same age as MJ I feel like we grew up together. I followed his life and loved the Jackson 5 when I was a little kid. Even though I'm more of a "Rocker" I still bought "Thriller" and my wife and I played it to death. I felt so bad for Michael when he was drug through that media circus called a "trial" a few years back. He was a very troubled man and I pray that he is now at rest. He brought so much happiness and joy to the world and was SO talented! Pray for his family...

People have to start to think of the fact that one person isn't just ONE thing in life. You can be a busdriver, nasty father, good politician, charming and a funny guy at the same time. So, IF Michael was addicted to medical drugs, he didn't have to be misserable or a bad person 'cause of that. He was still a good father, kind and humble. I just watched an interview with MJ's defence lawyer and said that he NEVER seemed OVER medicated or on drugs for the five months he sat with him in trial. He also said the case against him was bull shit and that Michael was a sensitive, gentle soul. this guy looks so fake it's incredible. That's what you call bad acting.

He also says that when MJ turned up in PJ's he'd just been to hospital and had to be at the trial or else they would take away his bail and be put in jail. He had no choice

How do you "wake up dead?" Yesterday I surmised that he was in chronic pain due to the surgeries he had had. I didn't know about the vertebrae and broken leg. Well when you add insult to injury as MJ did with his face and now these other ones revealed what do people expect you to do? A person can take only so much pain & they snap. I know I've been there & it isn't fun. Taking meds become a routine to live; and MJ couldn't help himself. I've been there & I really feel for MJ and his suffering!

I don't believe that his family or his Drs. could have prevented his death under these circumstances. There are clinics that can asses your disabilities and do treat them with appropriate pain meds and other meds. I know I do. MJ could have probably beat his disabilities with proper treatment. And why did those Drs. think they could manage the anesthetics? That's on the criminal behavior track in my mind. With all the personalities that died with OD I never heard of one using surgery meds.

Who recommended Demerol to MJ. The family was told and I've heard that they tried an intervention but failed. It seems that Liz was the only one who had succeeded in checking him into rehab the first time. As the professionals say the person has to want recovery for themselves. But The Doctors had the power to stop peddling drugs to him. Something is extremely wrong with his abusive Doctors. Time to put the abusers behind bars. If Mike couldn't help himself then the Doctors could've helped.

He just needed a proper treatment center to help him manage his pain. I've had open & invasive surgeries to the whole of my urinary tract.
