try it from a 60mph roll or get a better driver for the ZR1 and the Ferrari bites the dust. the ZR1 got a better power to weight ratio, 100000 more torque and the same aerodynamic level which means the ZR1 is definetely the faster car. so this Scuderia did beat the ZR1´s driver - not the ZR1.

this video has too many variables, you have no clue which gear the vette starts in, the ferrari doesnt look stock. "On the track" is what the 430 was made for not drag but you see the results in this video it won't be a shut out. Power to weight makes up for Horsepower bud. A drag race doesn't show everything a car is capable of.

Motor Trend got 11.5 1/4 for the 3200lbs 638 bhp ZR1 and 10.9 for the 2010 3550lbs 500bhp 9/11 Turbo, GT Channel got 11.0 1/4 mile for the 3750 lbs 478bhp GTR Spec-V. The F430 Scuderia does weigh 3200lbs and has 510bhp and got an 11.2 1/4 mile

@Sal30 Those specs are garbage. The ZR1 pulled 11.2 @131mph in the 1/4 and hit 60 in 3.2 secs. FYI, the ZR1 weighs 3350 lbs not 3200, asshole. I've seen STOCK ZR1s pulling mid 10s with no mods.
The driver of the ZR1 was obviously not trying. In the other video, both the regular Corvette and the ZR1 beat the Scuderia. I also raced a Scuderia with my base Corvette C6 and won.
It is not normal but the F430 is an F430 Scuderia .. The ZR1 is faster than the Gallardo, the viper, the GT3 etc. but can not be faster than the F430 Scuderia

since they started from a very slow roll the ZR1 did spin by 100%.
try it from a 60mph roll or get a better driver for the ZR1 and the Ferrari bites the dust. the ZR1 got a better power to weight ratio, 100000 more torque and the same aerodynamic level which means the ZR1 is definetely the faster car. so this Scuderia did beat the ZR1´s driver - not the ZR1.

this video has too many variables, you have no clue which gear the vette starts in, the ferrari doesnt look stock. Plus the vette is faster than the supposedly faster 599 so in thereal world the the 430 would lose. plus the power to weight ratio is not that much different between the two cars so it makes the video a bit skeptical.

I was merely trying to state the obvious from reported track times done by professional drivers. It is a close race but the ZR1 wins at 8 different tracks in every category but one....wet track. FYI, I own both cars and the Scuderia is my favorite but it doesn't change the fact the ZR1 is faster...brah!

"On the track" is what the 430 was made for not drag but you see the results in this video it won't be a shut out. Power to weight makes up for Horsepower bud. A drag race doesn't show everything a car is capable of.

@Aztech355 the vette has been shown to be faster "on the track" than the 599 and 430 so the video here is skeptical becausee the ferrari def doesnt look or sound stock. the power to weight doesnt make up for a 200 horsepower disadvantage bec the vette is not too much heavier than the 430

I'm AMAZED that the ZR1 keeps getting beaten by cars with less power(often heavier cars too. Motor Trend got 11.5 1/4 for the 3200lbs 638 bhp ZR1 and 10.9 for the 2010 3550lbs 500bhp 9/11 Turbo, GT Channel got 11.0 1/4 mile for the 3750 lbs 478bhp GTR Spec-V. The F430 Scuderia does weigh 3200lbs and has 510bhp and got an 11.2 1/4 mile
The Ferrari 458 Italia will no doubt kill the ZR1 as well.

@Sal30 Those specs are garbage. The ZR1 pulled 11.2 @131mph in the 1/4 and hit 60 in 3.2 secs. FYI, the ZR1 weighs 3350 lbs not 3200, asshole. I've seen STOCK ZR1s pulling mid 10s with no mods.

The driver of the ZR1 was obviously not trying. In the other video, both the regular Corvette and the ZR1 beat the Scuderia. I also raced a Scuderia with my base Corvette C6 and won.

Nowadays you need AWD, Dual Clutch, etc to compete.

It is not normal but the F430 is an F430 Scuderia .. The ZR1 is faster than the Gallardo, the viper, the GT3 etc. but can not be faster than the F430 Scuderia
