I don't see the teamwork aspect of BF3. Everyone is just camping and going solo. In MAG, there are enough players to watch your back and revive you when you are down, actually working in large numbers to defend or attack an objective. BF3 has nothing on MAG. So what the graphics aren't as great or the spawn system sucks (which I think the reason why it takes a long time to spawn is cos of the amount of players).

@slayer3slipknot there is WWIIOL or World War 2 Online for PC. Its been running since 1999. It has way more than 256 at once. It is about to recieve a major update they are adding USA forces. Its a combined war sim of ground/air/naval and a persistent battle. one "round" takes several months to end. it takes a good $1000 machine to run the game tho even tho the graphics are not up to standard but it is a free to play game, check out my channel if u wanna see gameplay vids of it

listen mag was a great game in the first few months it came out. the players and the company are to blame for it not being up to par. the company tried to put in way too many updates and just ruined the game. the players did what they wanted and didn't use teamwork.

I know the graphics aren't great or amazing, but they're still good. It isn't really od that the graphics aren't mindblowing with huge scaled maps like these. I thought this game was awesome, played it a lot more than games like CoD.

It's actually a bit similar to Battlefield, large scaled maps, many players.

@xSierraZz I have patience. It always took me a long time to get into a game. Besides even when I got into the game I just got raped by high level try hard's. So don't tell me that i'm wrong. You weren't there when I was trying to get into the server. That's the only way you could say i'm wrong but you weren't so...Gave this game back and got Bad Company 2, a MUCH better choice.

@xSierraZz Only things that change in MW are the parks and weapons. BF has a new engine built from scratch and completely reset which weapons would be in the game. CoD is fun but it's gotten so stale and old.

The only reason you would have lag is if your internet is fucked up. Besides, if they planned to have 256 people in one match, wouldn't they make a strong enough server to endure that many people in a match without any problems with the connection?

@markuscc no you just suck at aiming and are used to the auto-aiming of Call of Duty. btw the starting guns take 4-5 hits at close range to kill JUST LIKE ALMOST EVERY FPS OUT THERE. Super Armor? All of the armor is available at level 1 except 3, and they all are balanced! And you CAN jam their sensors you dumbshit. God I have never heard a bigger dumbfuck then you. This game is fucking terrible. I figured I would pick it up a couple weeks ago but it is absolutely not friendly to new players at all. The guns you start with are completely useless and take about 150 bullets to kill somebody. They all have super armor and guns that you don't get till the higher levels so you have absolutely no chance to do anything. Just to make things even worse they always know where you are because they have sensors which you can't jam until you level way up.

This game is about team work and tactic not lone wolfing it and shooting anything that moves...ill agree if your starting out it can be very frustrating and a terrible experience but you cannot give up just because you get killed within two mins. Raven sucks void! Literally! I just played a match of domination with my account and was the best of the squad with 1000+ points and 38 kills. 4 seconds before the end they kicked me for being better. Do yourself a favor: Avoid Raven. No teamwork spirit to speak of in this garbage dump of a PMC.

@gb604 DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. Everybody already has all the powerful guns and armor unlocked so its nearly impossible to kill anybody. It takes you about 50 bullets to take somebody down and it only takes them 1 or 2 bullets to kill you.

I was able to communicate with squad leaders but my orders fell on deaf ears. One squad leader actually wanted to win while the others were off dickin' around, throwing lives away senselessly trying to capture the Burnoff towers, I was even told to cut it out with my "FRAGO bullshit". It was as if we were trying to lose. I play for Raven but I also have a S.V.E.R character, I don't know what it is that SVER does but they win 80-90% of game with no communication whatsoever.

Alas, the downfall of Raven has nothing to do with weapon balancing issues as they're pretty much all the same; It is a lack of communication and teamwork. Here is an example: I played a game of Domination on offense and lost without capin' a single Burnoff Tower. My entire platoon had a plan and access to APCs that werent used properly. The plan was simple, get behind the enemy bunkers and destroy THEN secure the Burnofftowers, support Assets would go next then the positions would be capped.

looks like battlefield, except battlefield didn't put in 256 players because of balance purposes (they could actually put 256 into a single game on their maps with destruction 2.0!). But MAG itself is also an EPIC GAME because it has 256 players!
