@iloveparkwaydrive92 once you install launcher pro and push the home button, it should ask which program you want to do this with...launcher pro or Home(motoblur). be sure to check the make this default box. to switch back, download homeswitcher, it's free. or uninstall launcher pro. but you won't want to do that....

with launcher pro you can hide icons in your app drawer so its not so cluttered... why didnt you do that with the huge amount of bloatware on the droid x

well i'm not sure why i see all these people complaining about Evo or Epic being better or worse because of touchwiz vs sense ....seems like Launcher Pro solves that debate very easily. What do i know though, i'm just now about to get my first smartphone...epic or evo hopefully the evo being delayed for who knows how long, doesn't force me to pick the Epic...i'd like to pick the phone that i'll enjoy the most

@ByronSW32 you have to start from scratch. its not really that hard. i did it on my moto droid x and it took 5 minutes at most for it to look good. just base every screen on a different topic. 1 for social networking, 1 for games, 1 for music, 1 for camera, etc.

I have a Droid X and I would say LauncherPro is a must have. I shelled out the $2 or 3 to get Plus because I REALLY like this app. Makes my Droid GUI slightly better than my prior iphone 3g.

You dummy, it's the first icon on the bottom. Also, if it weren't there, lp is customizable so you can put it anywhere down there.

2) Yes. Just uninstall it or use Home Switcher from the market.

@gweedo767 another way to do it, and this works for all apps that have defaults (ie browsers) is to find the current default in the apps manager in the settings (launcher pro in this case) and hit the "clear defaults" button.
