what was wrong with your sonoma (check engine light)? I have an 01 sonoma and my light was on for awhile then the transmission solenoid was fucked and it wasn't switching into 3rd gear, then the starter solenoid broke so the truck wouldn't even start. That fucking sonoma has costed me some money. I've heard about alot of complaints about the sonoma's, with the check engine light and transmission problems.

So how do u open the plastic on to of the gauge to get the other sticker in

take the panel below the steering column off and you will see about 6 bolts holding on the bezel around the gauges. then there is 4 torx screws holding the plastic on. hardest part was getting the gauge needles in the right spot.

you remove the old gauges, its a 1 piece sticker type thing. its really easy to do

@steveandrews1982 the air injection pump,, i went to go smog and they wouldnt let me cuz the light then i pulled the codes on a scanner an it said air injection pump so i looked at it n there was this little tiny ass tube that wasnt connected i connected it and reset my codes and i guess that was it cuz the light didnt back on,, but idk they dont look as purple as i thought they would
