I think that because you only get a horse, not boats and helicopters and cars and stuff like that, the game feels so much more restricted. GTA IV is better online, but Red Dead Redemption has a better story.

For me, this game was so hyped up, all of my friends talked about it non stop, we all watched every trailer about ten times each, but when I got the game I was a bit disappointed, I mean, the single player is Ok, but if you're on free roam, apart from gang hideouts there is almost nothing to do, the game feels so empty.

Such a big map with barely anything in it, extremely hyped, nothing like what I expected, it's a good game, but no where near as good as GTA IV

But on the other side its real fun to explore the world with my friends and the gang hideouts are fun too. I readlly love the single player because there is so much to do. hunting animals, helping strangers, or those random events. I think its better that GTA 4.
