I would argue that the Qurupeco the most powerful monster in the game. I hated fighting it ever since it summoned a Friggin Rathalos when I clearly had no way of even thinking about fighting one. I still though "maybe if I'm careful I can still take both on!"

@MH3ownage my problem with Diablos is how fast it is. I Cannot react in time for it's attacks. and I have exceptional reaction. but I've only fought it twice...

then my Wii went kaput.

we were with 4 people and suddently he called "something" i dunno wath it was

oh crap wath the **** is that? deviljho came, fired his "laser" and all 4 died at once....

He killed me alone in my first elite Qurupeco SandyPlains quest by hitting me with one of his 999 pound bowling rocks from across Area 4 when I tried to log him in my notes. I thought all the way across the area was a safe distance. The other 2 people had already chased Qurupeco to Area 3 and weren't there to die with me.

Oh right, it's because the Switch Axe has the HIGHEST VERTICAL RANGE of any weapon. :D Yup, even higher than the longsword. Much higher, in fact. You can hit the Qurupeco's face with an overhead swing almost every time.

@Sparkz1607 It also takes some more skill then the longsword because you have to switch forms to maximize damage. It's an awesome weapon once you get that down!

Here's a fun fact: If you dodge Diablos's charge attack, and he hits an unbreakable object, he will get stuck and then you can wail on him! plus you'll get a wyvern's tear in the process.

@Night10194 My first Lagia kill, I wore full Bnehabra with Alloy arms and head (because oddly enough, Bnehabra does not include head and arm armor) and used Paralykeet hammer. I took tons of damage, but my armor boosted my Status-based attack success and we all know Lagia's a paralysis chump. I still figure I'm the only one crazy enough to do it, and skilled enough to pull it off because that armor, my friend, is not the thickest in the world lol
