No, if that was true, everyone on that college team would be going to the NFL and starting there first year. Thats a difference between kid stength and man strength. I garuntee you there is no one in colllege who could block an NFL Linemen or cover any NFL recievers.

Lol is this even a question? Think of how many "college stars" from National Title teams, get cut and don't even make it through pre-season. There are a TON I can tell you that. Even the worst NFL players have years of playing better competition, years of better coaching, superior workouts, drills etc... Plus to be a STARTER on an NFL team, your the very best in the world out of a league where everyone is already proven just to be on a roster. The 0-16 Lions would have destroyed any CFB team!!!!

Yeah a good college football team could beat the worst NFL team. The reason is, because most pro players become too big and bulky which slows them down. Most have sustained a bunch of injuries during their career and that affects their mobility. However mentally Pro players are much more advanced when it comes to reading plays. Sometimes when you spend too long in the pro's your ability to play football begins to worsen, take Brett Favre for an example.

A good example here. It is near impossible to go 16-0 in the NFL. The Pats did it, and that was monumental... but there was ALOT of luck involved in that. Even the Great Joe Montana would lose against teams that weren't considered to be great teams in the NFL. In college football, 9 out of 10 times, the National Champion will be undefeated, or will have 1 or 2 losses. A college team would be slaughtered against any NFL team, even the 08 Lions.

Troy Aikman was crumy his rookie season, and Peyton Manning was nothing special at 21 either. None of these guys as seniors in college had even sniffed real competition playing in the ACC, compared to veterans who are STARTERS in the NFL and have had that invaluable experience at the very highest levels for several seasons. The 0-16 Lions would have killed any CFB team.

Compare the teams, Team A gets a 95 rating, Team B gets a 75 rating, Team C gets a 40 rating and Team D gets a 15 rating. Team A destroys Team B. Team A is the patriots, Team B is the lions. Team C destroys Team D, Team C is best college football team, Team D is average football team. Who wins Team BvC? College teams at most have a little over ten NFL quailty players. NFL teams have 53 NFL players.

I will say this. You put the 2001 Hurricanes(GOAT in my opinion) '05 Texas & '04 USC on the same team & they still would get beaten soundly by the worst pro team. You have to realize the NFL has grown men in their 20's & 30's vs. teenagers to about 21 years old. I will take the NFL every day of the week.

that is a good point, but far overused.....do you realize an 18yr old(prolly the youngest possible)is literally almost physically a full grown man. About equal if not already, depending on genetics.

physical abilities I don't think are a problem. But as for skill....I think it's pretty close.
