The first point is not even contestable. The shoulder hit him first. The elbow was a follow through, which is completely legal. You're either a Red Wings fan, or just blind...probably both.

As for Blake being an idiot, he's one of the best defensemen in the modern era period. Who was the guy he hit again? No one knows, he's just another guy that got leveled by Rob Blake.

That's funny because I went to this game & that didn't change the outcome of the game. 3-0 Red Wings. This was from the January 22nd 2008 game. It was a blast, a bunch of Kings fans started leaving after Detroit scored the 3 goal. That was a great time except for the price of beer @ the Stapler. Ha Ha. I agree at this point in his career thats a little bit much for Blake, but does he suck? far from it. 3 times in his career he as a defencemen has had 20 or more goals, and 7 times hes had over 50 points in a season. Will most likley be considered for a hall of famer.
