  • Some of the best movie making you will ever see, now that's a fact folks !.............

  • At first i thought no country for old men was kind of slow but then I grew kind of fond of it. I do like their original work better though. Coen bros, david fincher, and quentin tarantino are the shit

  • MIND = FUCKED

  • every single one of their films is an anomaly and a truly unforgettable experience,

  • This is a beauty!

  • they rich my life every time i saw one coen´s movie :)

  • AWESOME!!!

  • an excellent carefully assembled presentation : well done!

  • YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, what condition mah condition was in!

  • Son, you got a panty on your head.

  • amo a los hermanos coen... inspiran creatividad!

  • Coen Brothers do most unusual dark work around. And I've always found it to be outstanding as long as it's their own material. Don't care as much for them directing work from other's sources.

  • Yeah think they are better at being loosely inspired by the material source than doing a direct translation.

  • Awesome tribute, one of the better ones that I found.

  • ALWAYS PUT ONE IN THE BRAIN...!

  • Watch the trailer for the Coen brothers' newest film A Serious Man at youtube [dot] com/ASeriousManMovie. Subscribe to the page for future details!

  • Nobody fucks with de Jesus!

  • The Brothers rock! All my favorite movies.

  • the coen's write great films for the most part. i am not a huge fan of their early works as directors. roger deakins compliments their films extraordinarily.

  • Genial homenaje para dos genios del cine, bestial!

  • now take your flunky and dangle

  • Great tribute... thanks!

  • Really a great tribute!

    Thank for posting!

  • Ya know, for the kids.

  • Very good!

  • Between them and Kubrick I don't who I like more. They're both awesome and very distinct.

  • Flawless

  • Nice work. Would love to know name of the second track played. Love it.

  • were you talking about the last song? the last song was from fargo.

  • perfect perfect perfect

  • how is the title of the second song?? ( the country one)

  • What did you guys think of Burn After Reading?

  • I thought it was hilarious.

  • yeah it was funny..but too short in my opinion

  • I loved it, really funny, but a bit too short.

  • o brother where are thou was their best. everything else is decent

  • That's just blasphemy.

  • oh my god!!!you don' t know what you say!!!!

  • oh brother where are thou was brilliant, just like the rest of their movies...ok, not the ladykillers.

  • not really. most of their movies start off good but go almost nowhere. they could seriously do so much better

  • It just requires a different level of intellect. You'll get there.

  • no. a smart director would be stanley kubrick. the coen brothers are like chuck palahniuk. they say hes good but if you compare him to dostovesky then he is shit. learn

  • Like I said, you'll get there.

  • i saw burn after reading. it was a boring piece of shit. nothing happens. and no country for old men was the same. small things happen and then it ends. watch a real movie

  • Like I said, you'll get there.

  • and like i say, they suck. go watch your indie films college boy. and cute name pussy

  • go watch dark knight or smth. it was one of the best comedies of the last years. the coens still deliver brilliant movies among the pile of crap that comes out of hollywood.

  • dark knight wasnt good at all. heath ledger did good but the movie sucked (not a big fan of superhero movies).

  • Batman isn't a "superhero," he's an "action hero."

    He has no super powers.

  • yes but the other people in the movie do.

  • Nobody in The Dark Knight had superpowers.

  • its still stupid as shit to see people save people in costumes.

  • haha

just for curiosity....what type of movies do you like?

  • me? clockwork, 2001, there will be blood, the day the earth stood still (old one), little miss sunshine was ok, o brother where art thou, etc.

  • what do you think differentiates o brother where art thou from their other flicks?

  • they took the story from the Odyssey . thats probably why it was the only good movie they made

  • @gsboss fargo was really good so i don't know what your talking about.

  • ROO-geda, ROO-geda, RAAAAAHHHH!!!!!

  • fight on dear old muncie

  • ötimo, aqui estão algumas das melhores tomadas destes dois grandes cineastas.

  • raising arizona,hudsucker,no country,millers crossing,fargo,lebowski,lady killers..blood simple...the coen's rule

  • "the heck do you mean!"

    Great great video

  • You know, I've rented a hundred films by reading the boxes. And I never noticed the names Joel or Ethan Coen. But it turns out the ones I rented cuz I said "This looks weird, but good" are films by the Coen Brothers. They are a filmmaking phenomenon, and I rely on them for not just quality entertainment but intellectual stimulation. (Favorite film: "O Brother Where Art Thou?" I could step into the film and live there if I had to, even though it would scare the shit out of me.)

  • You need to re-do this with scenes from No Country For Old Men.

  • What are the football scenes from again -- that's not the end of Raising Arizona, is it?

Oh, and what's the woman laying on the beach, looking at the ocean?

    Thanks.

  • The football scenes are from The Ladykillers, the woman on the beach is the last shot from Barton Fink.

  • I enjoy the film and live the film directed by coens..

  • Greatest living filmmakers. They just can't resist good talent, and they have the best eye for it. Everyone in their movies is there for a reason.

  • Good to see "Hudsucker" getting some due. I love it and I'm baffled that so many ( especially when it came out ) couldn't see the substance thru the style.

    Plus !, it's a hoot !

    "Cigareet ?"

    "You know, for kids !"

  • When that score for Fargo kicked in, maaaan, I got some major chills.

  • Fantastic job. The Coens are by far my favorite filmmakers. I had the honor of seeing Miller's Crossing at the NY film festival back in sept of 90 and have been hooked on their films ever since. Great tribute, dude. "What's the rumpus?"

  • Ethan Coen has an Off-Broadway play now playing called "Almost an Evening." Its hilarious

  • Great tribute to the best and most consistent directors around today. I particularly liked the Fargo theme...very powerful.

  • Love that music from Raising Arizona. :)

  • No shot's from blood simple?

    Then whats on 2:53?

and where did they get that laughing yellow dressed man near the end, and Frances Mcdormand saying, "I'm not afraid of you Marty?" LadyKillers?

  • Have you seen Blood Simple? There are several shots from it in there, including the "I'm not afraid.." line. All in all great work Greg!

  • Coens = best ever

  • Nevermind

  • I didnt notice any shots from Blood Simple

  • great download man but you left out a few classic lines.....

shut the fuck up donnie !

    the dude abides

    that creep can roll man

who stole your undies walter ?

you want a toe ? i can have you a toe by 3 oclock with nail polish

careful man ..theres a beverage here !

  • Well in 3 minutes, he has t ocover the 11 films, it's not easy

  • These guys are So Talented.

What movie was that with Billy Bob in it?

  • The Man Who Wan't There

  • I Don't want Fop ! I want Dapper Dan ! well isnt this a geographical odity ?

Exactly 2 weeks from everywhere !!!!!!!!!!

  • "I'm a dapper-dan man!"

    Oooooooooooooooo brother, where art thou!

  • Of that list the only one I have not seen is the Hudsucker Proxy. The only two movies of theirs I dislike somewhat are "O' Brother.." and The Lady Killers. The original Lady Killers is so good not even the genius of the Coen Bros. could improve upon.

However, their latest movie, No Country For Old Men, more than makes up for any serious criticism ANYONE could make about any of their previous films, including most of all,me.

  • 2:07 gave me chills. When it played the Fargo theme while showing the complete brilliance of the Coen Brother

  • I love these guys

  • was Nic Cage purposefully omitted from this tribute?

  • There's a shot of him running with a panty on his head.

  • Damn fine job!

  • You know...for kids!

  • What a great job. Just great

  • AND STAY OUTTA THE WOOLS WORLD!!!

  • wow...nice job man

  • Fargo, The Big Lebowski, and The Hudsucker Proxy are some of my all time favorite films.

  • Great job, Amazing use of music and picture from the greatest filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen!

  • Beautiful,dude.

  • Oh, and Blood Simple.

  • i recognized fargo, o brother where art thou, and big lewbowski but what were the other movies?

  • Raising Arizona, Millers crossing, Barton Fink, LadyKillers, Intolerable Cruelty, The Hudsucker Proxy and that b/w one with Billy Bob Thornton

  • The man who wasn't there

  • The finest body of work in the history of film (imo).

  • awesome!

  • excellent tribute!

  • You are right! I forgot the "Hudsucker Proxy". Shame on me! Anyway, Fargo theme is the best one!

  • Could someone tell me what film the second soundtrack in this video is from??

  • The Hudsucker Proxy

  • WRONG! The first one is from "Raising Arizon". The second one is from "Fargo". I think Maxx is searching for the soundtrack of "Fargo" that is so great!

  • I forget...the 15 first seconds is the music of "The Big Lebowski". So in order: "The Big Lebowski", "Raising Arizona" and finally "Fargo".

  • 0:07 Big Lebowski

    0:15 Raising Arizona

    1:20 Hudsucker Proxi( A. Kachaturian)

    2:08 Fargo

  • So poor to presents as a tribute.

  • Very cool. LOVE the climax with the Fargo theme! (Carter Burwell rules)

  • terrific - one of the best i've seen on youtube

wonder if the coen bros have seen it

  • Nice montage. The Coen brothers are like the best film-makers ever. I can watch all of their movies over and over.

  • brillaint!!!

  • Marvelous! Earns The Dude's seal of approval.

  • Friends is a mental state. Great tribute! Thanks.

  • A fine tribute to 2 of the greatest film makers in American history!

  • Brilliant! Breath-taking and all that stuff

  • A fine job. Well done.

  • That was great. Thanks very much.

  • Great editing!

  • "...WRITERS COME AND GO,WE ALWAYS NEED INDIANS."

    Ben Geisler

  • awesome video good work

  • Classic, A number 1, top hole and bristol fashion! Excellent, Sweet.

  • That's pretty damn impressive! Great work!

  • Awesome, man! You've reminded me how great the Coen brothers are. However, you needed more Blood Simple and less Intolerable & Ladykillers. But that's a minor complaint. Good work.

  • great!

  • Very nice job. I was hoping for Polito's "brain" quote, and sure enough, you didn't disappoint.

  • A beautiful tribute! The Coens rock!

  • ! thank you!

    very good

  • Very good job!

  • Fantastic !!

  • This is certainly one of the greatest videos I have ever seen, due in part it is an homage to my favorite filmmakers of all time, The Coen Brothers. They are truly one of THE gods of moviemaking.

  • Awesome! Goota love The Dude, and the Coen brothers.

  • Good job!
