@Achiliesguy21 Yes, some handguns shoot a bit below supersonic speed, ie, around the figures of 1000fps. However, the weight of a BB is nowhere near that of a lead round, making the kinetic impact neglible in comparison.

it also depends on where you hit, if you hit someone in the gap of the ribs to your heart with 1000fps (even with a bb), it would kill someone in a shot or 2

@Achiliesguy21 Just don't like people who talk about things they don't really know about. If you had a basic understanding of human anatomy you would know that there is muscle tissue inbetween the ribs, so even if you penetrate the skin (which I deem highly unlikely, breaking it however, sure) you still wouldn't impact the lungs, heart or liver.

If anything I'd be cautious of the throat.
