  • Having this done in 2 days. At least I now know whats going to happen

  • The use of laser and endoscopy surgery (scope) has averted the need for a large surgical incision to removed large kidney stones.

  • Depending on how small they break the stone up it can still be painful to pass. Also if they put a stent in that you have to leave in for days, pieces of the stone will end up passing in-between your ureter and the stent which can be painful. I have had 11 surgeries in 3 years to get kidney stones the size of golf balls out.

  • Thank you for posting this! I had the procedure yesterday and all went very well. Watching the video was very reassuring.

  • @maryjo97 when this happens to you, when you pass them do you still feel pain?
