Eh, pretty stiff. He acts likes it's no big deal the first two times he gets shot, and rushes through the whole thing pretty fast. It looks like the death is meant to be funny, not dramatic or sad. I found this video through a high school student playing this role, and he was much better.

In the production I just saw, you don't see Gavroche get shot. You hear it. It's very harrowing, our audience was silenced by it.

He still is a great actor. If you haven't seen it you should see his production of les meserables from the 25th anniversary. Besides he is no longer associated with Disney and bother are his brothers! They haven't been since the camp rock 2 movie. Of all the actors in the camp rock 2 he was the best and yes he was even better then his brothers. Not to mention you should see him in his commercials. I think he maybe considering doing more broadway in the near future.
