I commend your opinion, especially in the current political climate, but I have to say that I feel safe under Obama as well. He was responsible for the death of Osama bin Laden and the more realistic expansion of the war on terror. As a democrat, he's been commendably supportive of homeland security initiatives and middle east foreign policy, save for a few missteps.
Also, kudos for Bush. What a great speech.

Yeah I've always felt so too, he may not have been stellar when it came to the economic situations of America but after 9/11 his presidency became about national security and looking back on 9/11 it is one of the most important things to this nation and thank God he did put so much into it, cause like hell Obama will do anything that isn;t a 3 trillion dollar project to hang up road signs.

war is very sharply to distinguish from fighting. War means destroying civilian buildings such as factories, hospitals, apartment-complexes, houses, the indiscriminate slaughtering of civilians and enemy-combatants alike, the plundering of enemy-resources, the invasion and conquest of territories, etc. That has nothing whatsoever to do with killing rotten criminal scum who, if let to live, will only start more wars and continue to horrendously abuse other humans in all imaginable manners.

@TheMattd546 let's just say that Bush and his cronies covered their tracks really well but, the truth will come out regarding who was behind 9/11. For some, reason is enough proof. Anyhow, 9/11 didn't justify going to war because "America" wasn't attacked, plus the hijackers were not from Iraq or Afganistan, they were from Saudi Arabia...imagine that.
