How many people leaving sarcastic/ hateful comments know the reason behind the book of Leviticus or what anything in the Old Testament actually signifies? I'd venture to say none. Before you bash The Bible, why don't you learn a little bit more about it? God sent His son to die for your sins. The law has no power over those who believe Jesus is the son of God and that God raised him from the dead. All those things condemn man so that they realize the need for a savior. There was no refrigeration, no heath department and certainly no medicine for it. In fact, one form of this toxin is fatal in 12% who ingest it today. Shellfish is against kosher. Christians don't practice it because the bible also says do not eat it until the coming of the christ. I'm Jewish and I have studies Leviticus in detail. It doesn't mention Homosexuality as a sin as it refers to sex in itself or more to the point it is a reference to penetration. A man is free to have romantic relations with another man however the act of penetrative sex between the two men (eg. anal sex) is what is prohibited.

These laws are from the book of leviticus under the laws of Moses. God sent his only son to die for our sins so that we would not have to live by these laws. So as long as you believe God's only son died for your sins, you can be as gay as a rainbow and all shall be forgiven in God's eyes.

This even applies to different secs of Christianity, where there are different opinions on which books are to be included, which to be removed from the infallible bible. Before that, books of the bible were included or removed by popular choice. @Hoogz20 Bed time, but let me know where you want to get started on "answers". A logical first step to first prove that the bible IS the source of "answers", and not just a book of possible answers which still rely on the bible being a source of truth.
Example: there is a verse that unbelievers are fools. Well that's just something that a book says, and until you prove that the book is THE word of a REAL god, it is meaningless. Any ancient texts and say anything, and they often times do.

There are four syndromes called shellfish poisoning, Shellfish are filter feeders and, therefore, accumulate toxins produced by microscopic algae.

There was no refrigeration, no heath department and certainly no medicine for it. In fact, one form of this toxin is fatal in 12% who ingest it today. Even Native Americans are known to have warned early settlers to avoid shellfish during the summer months. It's easy to eat bad shellfish and never know it.

The rate of male-female relationships has gone (very) slightly down as gays become more accepted because bisexuals are now less forced to pick one sex over the other.

Such as circumcision, washing of hands with running water, ect. These things helped preserve the nation of Israel and set them apart from other nations. Shellfish is against kosher. Christians don't practice it because the bible also says do not eat it until the coming of the christ. Christians believe that Jesus was the christ, therefore they find that kosher no longer applies to them. However since almost all Jews do not believe that Jesus was the Christ, they cannot eat of it until the coming of christ.

I'm Jewish and I have studies Leviticus in detail. It doesn't mention Homosexuality as a sin as it refers to sex in itself or more to the point it is a reference to penetration. A man is free to have romantic relations with another man however the act of penetrative sex between the two men (eg. anal sex) is what is prohibited.
