it is david. david also sings the high notes in livin on a prayer these days.. he always was the highest back up vocalist together with alec. higher than richie, only no one ever talks about david.. that man deserves respect. lots of respect

Jon has learned that he can't sing like that without straining his vocal cords. When he was young he didn't know any better, hence, the damage.

He's still great, and I agree, his voice was the band which is why only he had a contract...and, yeah, I love the entire band, but it's a fact.

the only reason ppl r sayin Jon's a crap singer is because he cant hit the high notes. I still think he's a fantastic singer, who has a bigger career ahead, if he goes bk 2 his roots. like in the first five albums.

yes, they are still good, I really can't wait june, because i'm going to their concert, but they are old now, there is no more energy, no more really great songs, and their voices aren't like 20 years ago..now, they are just living legends, and I really respect them (unfortunatley i did not live in that times

to see the legends in their best ages)..

p.s. richie sambora was always the best singer in the band, he really got feeling for music:D

wow man.....they are still awesome!!! No Jon cannot hit the high screaches anymore....but noone can from that time nowadays. And you can be sure that no modern singers have that voice. Jon still has remarkable talent and I have no idea what the fuck you are talking about when you say he has no energy...the man is on fire on that stage!!!!! He is ageless. I have never seen anyone think what you said. He is always dancing and having a rocking time on stage. Open up your eyes!
