@XxLildancinqueenxX I'm not sure, but when I look at the data sheet for all the timings, etc., it looks like the only way to get a slower spin speed is with the delicate cycle, or maybe perm. press. I wondered the same thing, because on the regular cycles mine will not spin slower, either, regardless of spin speed switch position.
@dirkdaddy2 No, the spider and stainless steel basket are one part number and have to be purchased as one. However, the spider is attached with 6 bolts and can be removed from the basket. I don't know why they don't sell them separtately ... money I guess.
Regarding the running part of the video .... I assume that you have not done this repair. If you had, you would know that nothing is a sure thing with this. I just wanted to show that the finished product did in fact work.
Mine definitely spins faster when fast spin is selected. Maybe your switch isn't working

Is the spider sold separately I assume? You could have done w/o the video of running it, we assume it works now : ~)
