  • nice forward stance

  • Taekwondo and Shotokan styles are awesome for kicking techniques. I mean I know the following: 1. front snap - thrust 2. roundhouse 3. side snap - thrust (my favorite kick) 4. Back thrusting kick 5. Hook Kick (heel) 6. Spinning hook, spinning back, spinning side thrust....etc. 7. All of the flying kicks! But KENPO combined with boxing is the BEST for upper body self defense. It's a known fact that one can be caught off guard and the fight might be up close. That's when I use Kenpo!
  • I always get static from "traditional" martial artists when I say this, but

I "NEVER" pull the other hand back to my waste when blocking because, I know from actual street experience that it is too slow and can even cause a person to "freeze" in a self defense situation! It's a shame that so many "traditionalists" are so stubborn about this FACT! They ONLY style of martial arts that I have found people who DO agree with me is "KENPO" experts!

  • hmmmm, refraining from commenting on the lack of uttilization of Tae Kwon Do

  • When You do high block, You suppose to twist your waist a little bit and blocking hand start from your waist across your body.

  • @Bella1275 Indeed. You need to generate twist power which comes from the hips and waist.

  • I think the lighting in these videos needs to be tones up abit
