Helmsman's fault. He got them bow-on to the rushing river (looks like the current is doing 6 knots at least) from the get-go, vice going broadside-on as proper and then compensating with a landing point further downstream. But then, I guess they have little leeway in that dept., what with the cameramen and tourists waiting for them to step-off onto the only dry, level wharf for miles...
