(srry for my bad english)

  • engines were ment for running. :(

  • And they all did and all could.

  • to many engines

  • really original with the half naked women poster on 1:31 hehe not suprized tough nothing bad ment but pretty original

  • Thanks again. I will definatly keep that in mind.

  • I am a beginner flyer and i was wondering how long should i fly electric engines before switching to gas. Also are gas engines harder to fly. Thanks

  • Well you never actually have to stop, ya know?.

LOL. The planes fly the same and both have advantages and disadvantages. Gas= fuel cost is high, need starting batteries for glow plugs and electric starters, plus most people complain about noise and you need insurance.

They require a good ear and knowledge to set them to run so they dont quit in the air.

Electrics can fly anywhere, but batts dont last long, so extras are best. They start right up too and need the least amount of support equip.

  • Look at all them engines!! Had to stop viewind due to seliver dripping into my laptop ...

  • Laughing out loud. Thanks.

  • Do you remember those cars and planes and helicopters that were before RC and they had strings on them and you held them and went in circles do you remember the name of those like the name they went by like string cars or cord racers or what ever I can't remember but I have a Cox Spitfire plane and a Cox Helicpoter the ones with the strings not RC hopefully you can help me

  • Yes. I learned on UKIES or U CONTROL as we called them I was flying in contests with Veco Thunderbirds and 60Ft Steel cables for the "strings". The Spitfire and PT 19s were my favorite Cox Ukies.

  • Fabulous collection! I too am an OT and have a very old engines. An atom ignition, a Brown , I just sold a Fury inline Twin .074. Have some McCoy blueheads. Sold an old McCoy Diesel as well.

  • OMG I THOUGHT I LOVED LITTLE ENGINES!!! I would love to own just one of those engnines.

  • holly...i thought i loved engines lol...now imagine all of them running at the same time lol

  • If car gasoline is almost $4.00 a gallon, and model airplane fuel averages about $28.00 a gallon, that would be a very expensive task. I remember when I thought model airplane fuel was expensive at $12.00 a gallon. That was 1979 prices!

  • How true.

  • Hi NightFlyyer. I got my airboat in the lake, up and running a week and a half ago. That was my first boating experience. I started my R.C. collection of engines and model cars in October of 1978. To date, I have some fifty thousand in to my hobby. Very fun . I have two Wankel engines that have never been ran, two Conley V-8s and a host of .21s, .61 and others. They are one big family, but not as big as yours. I think your engines have been having babies when you're not around! LOL!

  • Ha ha. Thanks. Wanna sell one of the OS Wankels?

  • No, I want to hold onto the engines. Back in July of 1997, they sold for under $300.00. Now, they are in the $400.00 range. They still sell these at Hobby stores.

  • OK. I thought OS stopped making them. My OS Wankel was one of the most smoothest of all my engines, but came apart in a head on crash with asphalt, when my elevator fluttered at High speed knocking out the servo. This was back in the 80's and I never got another one, due to the high price.

  • thanks for the video..there's always something interesting and new from you! Cheers!

  • Thank you, glad you like.

  • wow! very nice

  • Thank you.

  • WOW that's an amazing collection.. tons of effort mr.dean has done to put it together :)

    great video :]

  • Thanks a lot. He will appreciate that.

  • This is another great video Dave. That is a very nice collection too! 5 Stars.

  • The song is Fly Robin Fly. It is appropriate for flying, but if it is a little redundant, I apologize.
