Does a video (live, whatever) of the song "From Broken Cross, Locusts" exists? I am also trying to identify from which discourse of Pope Paul VI David Tibet took the recording he used for the initial loop.
i ve been looking for a song called something like "jonathan over seas".it was included in a collection with other kinda ambient-experimetal gothic songs and i cant find it....any ideas anyone?
a friend gave me a curent 93 cd when i was 15, i loved that cd, i never even knew who it was just loved the music i thought id never find his music again, im 27 now, this is fucking geniusness.
never thought a Strawberry Switchblade covers could be one of the most melancholic tracks i've ever heard, Rice's reading of that monologue is chilling, too
that whole period of neofolk just kills me though
David Tibet is actually a christian who believes in the rapture. When asked about his song Hitler as Kalki he said :" Hitler was the Antichrist, Jesus killed Hitler-eventually..We can hope that it should have been sooner...I remember my father telling me of his experience as a member of the first British troops to enter the extermination camp of Belsen, and the hell on earth he found there..." The douches can go on pointing fingers out of boredom, that's what youtube is all about.
(Pt. 2 Quote from David Tibet)...of the nightworld he and his followers wait, emerging once more and more into the day. I remember my father telling me of his experience as a member of the first British troops to enter the extermination camp of Belsen, and the hell on earth he found there. So then, perhaps this earth is hell, but it rests to us to ensure that we defend our own hearts against the call from the abyss. May all be happy; may all be aware. The Little Shining Man approaches....
Quote from David Tibet : "Since this New year of 1993 I have been reflecting on questiones people have asked me concerning the song " Hitler as Kalki (SDM)" and my views on Hitler. I am in no doubt: Hitler was Antichrist; Jesus killed Hitler- eventually... We can hope that it should have been much sooner, but for whatever reasons it was not to be. Unfortunately since Hitler's death, all around his cruel spirit lives and multiplies, and many antichrists now surround us. In the dark corners....
Labeling people as Nazis and Fascists is getting old and I think over time people will get over it. The idealism is worn out and ultimately defeated. It needs to be put in the grave and forgotten. That is the first step towards progress and the establishment of intellectualism. Better days may yet still be ahead!
@Midvinterblot542 nice words. nevertheless idealism cant get killed while still living in hearts of people like i am. intelectualism tries to suppress our hearts. thing it over
Please do us a great gift...Digitalize the VHS and upload the videos, please!
I'm from Chile and here is impossible to find this kind of art. People here loves to listens and dance music that doesn't have any sense, any artistic value...
you destroy that which should be called untouchable, sing i've got a lovely bunch of coconuts, sing the song of the lipstick lizard,or wail in a monotone tone, but tone it down ,further! don't let me hear that refrain.
There is an interview of Boyd Rice by Tom Metzger on Youtube. Tom Metzger is a prominent Nazi and former KKK Grand Dragon of California. Search for "Boyd Rice Tom Metzger" on you tube.
Swastikas For Noddy made me laugh a lot, thinking these ridiculous songs were just a joke. Now I simply consider this album as a timeless masterpiece.
Well Boyd Rice yes, others like DI6 yes, but that is also why David Tibet broke with them, he called this nazi involvement "unpleasant shit" and is NOT a nazi, no matter what their former friends say
Oh, thanks for sharing. I just like to poke around and see what happens. Also, I tend to not be flexible with the meaning behind words. I'll soon post a vid of a song I once learned. I think it's Current 93. Maybe you'll be able to tell me which song it is.
so who was first rose mcdowell with strawberry switchblade or current 93 with rose in that too, which either way still have my strawberry album and single that comes with it,,

It is not Boyd Rice's words, it is actually from Nietsche's Antichrist nonsense manifesto. Still I think it fits.

then Boyd Rice is reading it.

Boyd has said attributed the quote to Richard Wagner.
