@sebster10 I count this girl pure talent because singers who use autotune too much and have other people write their songs for them aren't actually talented, they're living off the talent of other people and computers, or they'll use their bodies, but she doesn't which in my opinion qualifies her to be more of a real artist than the ones i listed. And fyi I didn't say that I don't like Jason Derulo, Jay Sean, and all the other artists I listed. I do; but as I said they are very famous and Juliet is not, which I don't agree with because of their vocals. They talk and use autotune and Juliet doesn't. I have nothing against autotune when used in moderation, but when that's the basis of your career it's not much.

She used it once in her latest single Can't Be Tamed (once, so moderation), and I prefer her old stuff anyway to be honest. He was just a tea boy at a record company, and they picked him randomly to make a song, and Never Guna Give You Up now has hundreds millions of views (partly dew to Rick Rolling but he was still a huge hit in his time). I believe she still works with them? And im sure they still influence her greatly.

@sebster10 I did address the points. After I listed the white singers who heavily use autotune. Why can't I talk about meaningful lyrics? After listing what artists? "In my head I see you all over me in my head you fullfill my fantasy in my head you'll be screaming ahhhhhh in my head it's going down" are not exactly meaningful lyrics.

@peaceandlove966 The main reason Miley Cyrus is popular is because she is a brand, forced onto the world by Disney. I have no proof of these next statements, but I really cba to research Miley, they are simply highly likely assumptions. She probably receives hundreds of top class singing and acting lessons, she probably has a singing coach, an acting coach, a personal fitness instructor, etc.

@sebster10 trainer is NOT the same thing as using autotune. I"m shocked that you think that. I'm really not in the mood to discuss how Miley got famous. It is in HUGE part to Disney, but she no longer works for them and is making a name for hereself now, and doesn't let Disney control her and tell her what to sing. She writes her own stuff. I have no idea who Rick Astley is. I'm sure some of Miley's stuff has autotune as well, but not in the songs I mentioned which are the ones I like.

@peaceandlove966 My point about Rick Astley and about the coaches, was that with enough help, absolutely anyone can make it as an artist. Search Rick Astley on google or something. He was just a tea boy at a record company, and they picked him randomly to make a song, and Never Guna Give You Up now has hundreds millions of views (partly dew to Rick Rolling but he was still a huge hit in his time). I believe she still works with them? And im sure they still influence her greatly.

@peaceandlove966 And to be honest, that seems the same as auto tuning, just doing it before hand. I am sure that every one of song of her songs are fiddled with to some extent in the studio (but so are most peoples). A company like Disney can make anyone a star, just look at Rick Astley.

& Justin Bieber has suuuch good natural talent, but they change his voice so much on autotune, it makes him sound bad for some reason? not his full, pure voice. i wish they would just maybe,. fix up the flaws ? not the person's entire singing voice. you know what im sayiinn.

@Destiny1301 miley's latest album was very fixed yes, but not because she can't sing, because she wanted this to be a techno dance album. i don't feel like directing you to any of miley's best performances, but in my opinion her voice is amazing as proven by many of her latest concerts. i like justin bieber. don't love him but i think hes talented.

For those of you who weren't fans back then, this is the original version of Hush that could be found on Juliet's Myspace page before it was revamped with her NOW (but not back then) band Automatic Loveletter. Actually, both this song and her original solo myspace page were redone to include the band. Anyway, personally, I prefer this version.

technically yeas it indeed IS for the looks. If it wasn't why would anyone ever make/watch a music video? yes the music is an important part of the art, but the visual is arguably more important because of that.
