  • GOD!!!!! this generation is going no where it makes me sick with the crap some kids say these days is unbelievable someone please take back to the days with Charlie Chaplin.Where you didn't need dirty jokes to be amused.Where all you needed was good music and humorous situations.

    - sincerely, a concerned 12 year old

  • Johnny Depp brought Keaton's spirit back so well in Benny & Joon.

  • Bbbrrrooovvvooo!!

  • NOWADAYS, IT'S FOWL WORDS, ETC. THIS IS SIMPLE, CLEAN AND HILARIOUS FUN. TO THINK THAT JUST BY HIS ACTIONS YOU CAN LAUGH YOUR ASS OFF! HE HAS BEEN HAILED AS A PIONEER AND GENIUS OF COMEDY BY HIS PEERS, I AM CERTAINLY A BIG FAN. GREAT CURE FOR A BAD, DOWN DAY!!!

  • I agree that the repeated requests for comments and ratings are annoying. Just show the clip!

  • haha "fizzical exercise"....that has to be one of the greatest puns ever. :)

  • Jesus, what a genius.

  • He was very lowbrow. Not that good.

  • my mother used to talk about buster keaton when i was younger. those were the days before dvds. we used to watch a bit of charlie chaplin, harold lyodd and such but i dont think i ever knew who was Buster keaton. Until my daughter went to college and studied film ..one of her subjects. I found a set of dvds of his w ork and bought it. I have enjoyed it so much....I still watch it over and over.

  • What's so ridiculous is that Buster could probably do what the other soda jerk was doing, but better!

  • عن اوووووم البلاهة

  • They put eggs in milkshakes? Ew! But poor Buster, and yet somehow I have a feeling that's about how well I'd do in his position too.

  • @TheBookWorm1718 Egg Nog is just a glorified milkshake.

  • ein Komödian wird man heute sagen, aber einer noch damals mit viel Sinn,Verstand und Gefühl

  • Thank you for posting this delightful scene. The magic of Buster Keaton needs to be re-discovered by a new generation of viewers. Thanks for helping move that possibility along.

He was bad in everything he did, but he tried so hard... lol

  • LMAO at him making the milkshake, and then sliding it across the counter into that guy's lap. LOL

  • LOL Mr.StrangeSensation, yeah it did say that!

  • Re 0:35, I'd like another comedian as good as Keaton was. I don't think I'm ever going to get it. Buster was the best.

  • Wow. He sucked.

  • For him to actually do things and mess it up on purpose was probably REALLY hard for him to do! Keaton is pure genius.

  • Does that sign say "Boy Wanted"?

    LOL

  • You should watch movie on Youtube: NWLs1QsVHSM

  • Don't you just love the way his eyes say everything! Brilliant.

  • EPIC!!

such an old movie but i still laughed really hard

  • perfect very nice.

  • Eggs in milkshakes?

  • Yes they make them with eggs if they're fancy. You know, like the five dollar milkshake? "That's a pretty fucking good milkshake."

  • Cool. I'm going to try that.

  • I don't know if it's worth five dollars but it's still pretty good.

  • It's called an egg-flip ... it used to commonly be used as an invalid food, or as a convenient fast-food in the days before Macdonalds..

  • When I was in grade school (~35 years ago, before the fears about salmonella), I used to drink a milkshake made with an egg and milk and Ovaltine. Made it super easy, with a slice of toast, to down a quick breakfast and get to the bus.

  • @CapriUni My family did the same. When you were running late, this was breakfast in a glass. Funny, no one ever got salmonella.

  • @gmaureen I think it may have to do with modern, industrial chicken farming techniques that weren't in practice back then. Now, chickens are cooped up in extra dense populations, and so pumped full of antibiotics that salmonella has evolved into a superbug that really knocks you out.

  • @CapriUni Thanks for the explanation. I didn't think of it that way, but I'm sure you are correct.

  • @gmaureen We raised bantam chickens, when I was a kid, and we got our own eggs. We probably did get salmonella poisoning, now and then, but it was the kind of thing to just give you a bit of a tummy ache for a day that was more inconvenience than really made you sick, and you didn't realize anything was really wrong, except in hindsight. Hanging out in the chicken coop with the hens and chicks probably also gave us a natural innoculation. Good times. :-)

  • @CapriUni Our eggs came from the big city grocery. I also remember our neighbor, from Sicily, poking a hole in an shell egg and eating it raw. I was impressed by her, but I couldn't do it that way. I needed the milk and Nestle's Quik to make it palatable. I think your explanation regarding present day poultry practices is probably the answer.

  • Awsome... Buster was so great... he was very funny and an amazing acrobat

  • "Fizzical" exercise! Hahaha!

  • ROFL. i'm w/ya on that armband

  • Loved the ending xD

  • this is a very nice movie. He did bad everything. I like this movie

  • He tried so hard.
