I like the grim, strange chemistry between Clarice and Hannibal a lot, but this song does nothing for it. You're not the only one. I haven't watched one video yet that had picked appropriate music or was done well to capture what they have. It's just really goofy, unrealistic. Try to think a little more about what you choose Pick something that will be recieved by more than fangirls. Darkly romantic maybe, but not cheesy. This isn't some storybook romance. It's a complex and frightening ordeal.

Thomas Harris tries to tell you in the books that he doesn't love Clarice. He is intrigued by her. The reason he never kills her is because she is his game, and he is testing his limits. He enjoys how frightened she feels in his presence because he could - and would - kill her, and because of that he likes playing on that power, that fear.
It's not love! Hannibal Lecter is still a psychopath in both the books and movies.
It's actually implied that he loves her in the last two chapters of Hannibal (the book). But it is a love born of the ecstacy of he hunt, the thrill of the chase, as it were.
Jesus Christ that song fits perfectly, i was crying I love both of them so much and i wish only for Clarice to realize their love for one another. I love the chemistry between them and your description of how they feel is exactly what i think of it. When he saves her and carries her out makes my heart flutter because it shows his uncondiotional love for her. And the end of the film is perfect, i waited ages for him to kiss her. And when he didnt cut her hand off was perfect to show his love.

I thought there are many love exist, which you know it's so good together, but due to some reasons, you can't keep it... i know it's sad..but it's wat human beings have to go thur....
You know, this movie is super romantic and sweet and tragic, but it might have worked better if you could've found a movie with a similar story and the characters aren't, like, 50 years apart. The fact that this is a story between a lovelorn CANNIBAL and and FBI AGENT who's trying to KILL HIM, well, it kind of turns me off. But hey! Who am I to judge? This is, after all, America-a free country! oh, by the way, is Hannibal truly American? Cuz he sounds kind of...like Gandalf. U kno, deep.
