AWESOME! I adore Gunlances, they're the only ones I can use properly other than the Great Sword. Just yesterday I killed a Plesioth in the Desert (MH2Dos for the PS2 ^_^) in an epic confrontation (I had less than 1/4 life, my stamina got depleted until it was only that small 1/4 bar of when you start, and I died twice already... I said "Oh what the hell" and I charged at him with the unsheathe attack, and he Hipchecked (I was like Oh Dammit) but Plessy died! Never felt better in my life.

Please don't flame me for asking a nooby question...but what does Guard +1 or +2 do?

With guard +1 or +2 you get lees "pushback" when you block an attack.

Instead of getting knocked back and cannot move, you just block the atack and stay clear.

nevermind. I love MHF2 and as all the players I started like a newbie, getting killed by crap monsters like kut-ku. It's all about playing lots of hours to get experience.

dude, do u have guard+1 or +2? because if u do, how do u get it on tigrex armour? cuz i cant fit enough decorations on there for it to become active skill.

This video is from a long time ago. Now I got full Silver rathalos set and Lao shan Haku, so I got with decoration in both seths guard +2, and then ESP or guard up ^^

does silver rathalos come with guard +2 just from the full set then, or do u need 2 put a couple of decorations on it. this is the armour i have wanted 4 ages, as it looks great and alot of people and places tell me it a brill armour for gunlance users

MMM. You need full set of jewels in order to get guard +2. In lao shan haku you get it raw

dude, gunlance wielders are meant to be impenetrable walla that deal good damage, i recommend u use something that raises guard skill so u dont take carry over damage, after that, do whatever, i dont remember tigrex being a good armor choice for this

This video is very Old. I'm actually wearing Lao Shan Haku armour (protection +2, protection up) wich is a very good armour for gunlancers :D

I think by "turtle method" he/she means just firing the gunlance and running around instead of actually using its stabbing and guarding moves.

Itz basically blocking while doing a triple stab for the ENTIRE ROUND XD... but its not useless, just not using all of itz potential

There are actually people who put up their guard once and hold it for practically the entire fight, not using any shelling, wyvern's fire, or anything except the upstab out of guard.

That is the turtle method and it is only used bu thoe who aren't skilled with gunlances...that's just not skill •_•...

....i was on tha quest today..... killed Rathion by shelling and wyvern breath were she couldnt reach me, had 19 mins left hunted rathian, kept going were i didnt want and flying in sky shooting fireballs then he eventualy took my last life from me =( (( With the Tigrex normal gunlance))

Its easy to kill him with GL, but also with GS, you just need some hands and a strong weapon ;)

You have probably cleared this quest long ago but use hammers mate,they pawn rathian and rathalos,s,it dosnt matter what type they are pink,azure,red,green,silver,go­ld it pawns them all.

I obtained first the rubys than the materials enough to upgrade to gun chariot.... Maibe you are not lucky enough. Try to capture instead of kill the silver los, and maybe you are lucky and get one ruby in reward.

what is the wepon path to start it with and what hr do you have to be

It starts from iron gunlance. Before Hr 4+, it stays on special ops gunlance, with good raw atack and green sharpness. For the dragon gunlance, you must be at least hr4 and kill silver rathalos. From there its just a little expensive, but the materials are easy to get ^_^

PD If a friend can help you better than better, cos silver rathalos is a li'l heavy to solo without G armour
