A .26 milliamp jolt is not going to leave people in "critical" condition, it's what they have introduced into their bodies prior to committing the act that gets them tasered, that causes them problems!!!
What of the other factors that might make a person susceptible to serious injury or death from "minor" electrical shock? Many of these have nothing to do with what the person has put in their bodies prior, for example, congenital heart defects, or other undetected conditions. Let's say the victim did use drugs prior to their being Tasered. Should they die for it? I guess we should exterminate 200 million+ Americans then. (Caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, cold medicine, anti-depressants, Viagra,etc)
The problem is that the technology affects diffent people in different ways, because not all bodies are alike. Out of 1000 people tasered, there are probably very few people who are seriously injured, or die. In my view, ONE death is enough to put the technology out of use. However, in the US, the State and its law enforcement arms see that as acceptable loss. After all, its not the rich who are being tasered.

3. He was tased in the chest, and the police officer was more occupied with getting him in cuffs than checking his vitals immediately after
