You people had that cop completely owned but you fucked up by being "peaceful". This is exactly why I refuse to join any fucking OWS type of protest, nobody will stand up for you when you're getting arresed, tased or beat. Fuck you 'occupiers" you're not accomplishing a damn thing. You could learn a lesson from the Egyptians.
sorry this is not harrasement if the guy had a warrant and obviously he was resisting , now the harrasment could have occured when he was stopped and id's for no reason , nice take down btw
Who knows why he got ID'd in the first place, but once he was told that he was under arrest he should have complied. That deputy showed too much restraint and actually endangered himself by letting the suspect get back up. He could have easily turned around and swung on him or struck him with his phone. The deputy was trying to be careful and gentle because of all the cameras, but he needs to focus on his safety.
This is a criminal with a warrant for his arrest, who then resists arrest, grabs the cops leg, he's just putting on a show for the protesters who have NO idea whatsover what this person's felony record is.
@JenX206 You dont know if this person is a criminal, or that he is a criminal just because he has a warrant, but I do agree that he is a little retarded for resisting arrest...
@Romankrikov Sure, criminal warrants are issued for non criminals all the time! - sarcasm - And noncrimnals try to snatch their ID back from the police, then wrap a leg around the cop trying to wrestle a guy with a gun. No, you're right. He likely wasn't a FELON. Oh wait, a public disclosure request would prove you wrong. Why dont you request the police report? You can do it by email. spdpdr@seattle.gov
really? that is fucking retarded of you to say. please never use the internet again. thank you. this guy should go to jail. this police officer was very nice to him. if it were me i would have curb stomped the fuck.
The officer showed tremendous restraint against a subject with a warrant who was resisting arrest. He is very lucky he was not tased. When people act like this man who was arrested, it makes people not want to support the occupy Seattle movement. Not many people want to support people who act like this idiot.
I am so very proud of all the protesters and everything the movement stands for, that being said, he should of listened to the officer. There is no point in fighting the inevitable. Just deal with it in court. There is NO reason getting hurt and provoking an already corrupt police department. In this ONE incident, I'm gonna have to side with the officer. Please to all protesters, if your gonna get arrested, DO NOT RESIST!! thank you to ALL occupy Seattle protesters, we r so proud of you!!
Hay lets all go to jail we can use the room and meal they should jump that cop as he harassers another American Citizen - To far too late as they seperate an American from American people to deal with him in PRIVET. SICK PEOPLE JUST WATCHING AS THEY TAKE THE AMERICAN AWAY
1) SPD doesn't have a sheriff. King County has a sheriff. And King County's police track record is MUCH better than SPD.
2) That young man obviously isn't complying with what the officer is saying and you never got footage of what happened before the officer tried to arrest him. So this can hardly be considered police harassment.
3) I stand with the Occupy protests wholeheartedly, but not everyone there is an innocent. Some of those arrested are actually idiots who had it coming.
thats king co sheriff not SPD

If you don't want to be arrested for your criminal warrant, (a) don't be a criminal, and (b) show up for your court dates, dumbo.
