How To Save The Facial Nerve During Parotid Salivary Gland Cancer Surgery

I recently have had this surgery (last week) and I got a question, Do I have to avoid any kind of food or drinks? Because I used to drink a lot of coffee and energy drinks.

I undergo parotidectomy twice, it was last 2002 and the latest was 2 months ago...evrything went well except for some post opt med side effects , thanks to my ENT DR. Ramon Gonzales for his excellent work and above all to God Almighty for guiding us during the operation.

This is outstanding. I had this done in 2007 and the doc had the wonderful courtesy of being very careful around my facial nerve. You guys deserve every penny of your paychecks for the work you do. No bullshittin!

At first I was intrigued by your choice of music, but then I changed my mind. You are magic, just as the song says. As someone who has been on the receiving end of a total parotidectomy, I've got to say - you surgeons are wonderful. To have saved the facial nerve is a real gift to your patient, as is removing the cancer.
