funciona en cualquier compresion pero depende del instrumento, y de la volatilidad, hay que revisar para el instrumento que uno quiera operar en intradiario y ver como funciona
ciertamente son los 3 en metastock tenes que construirlo poniendo los tres en el mismo panel, lo que te recomiendo es que pongas el +DI en azul el -DI en rojo para identificarlos facilmente

Hi actually you might missed it because its in spanish, but at some point I mention that ADX itself has not to be used for spotting trends but its usefull when you detect a lower than 20 adx on a distribution or accumulation to get early in the coming breakout. The vid is a system with +DI -DI combined with a 21 SMA.

Muy bueno Lord , una duda para el Metastock tengo los siguientes indicadores:
Directnl Movement + DI
Directnl Movement -DI
Directnl Movement ADX
Directnl Movement ADXR
Directnl Movement DX
Entiendo q debo usar solo los 3 primeros , o me equivoco?. Saludos
