  • I was born in 95 which didnt give much time in the 90s lol but i still choose the music that i heard then and the early 2000 over the bullshit today and not even just rock just rap and everything in general

  • Ugh, LFO & Avril: NOT ALTERNATIVE. Just sayin'....

  • i know its debatable, and its just my opinion, but i think musical talent and music progression ended in mid 93. call me a troll its not like i havent heard it before!

  • born in '91, I can say my childhood was from '95 - '04 so this is my music, it's all I listen to, I don't know anything new, I hear new music sucks.

  • @Provolonesurprise you explained it the exact same way I would have.

  • I was born in '92. I grew up listening to rock music. My favorites though are from the mid 90's to the early 00's. I do like some of the new rock music that came out, but nothing will beat the old stuff!

  • I miss my youth, I have so many great memories that I have tried to fit in the character limit on Youtube, but can't! It was just great, my babysitter's kid is about 3 years older than me, and we would do so much while these songs were popular! Many great cartoons, video games, songs, and just the atmosphere back then was just fantastic!

  • "Breakfast At Tiffany's" by Deep Blue Something,

    "Amber" by 311,

"Save Tonight" by Eagle Eye Cherry, "Island In Sun" by Weezer

"Pinch Me" by Bare Naked Ladies.

"Out of My Head" by Fastball "Lonely Day" by Phantom Planet

this is about halfway through, things got too awesome for me around here, I had a nostalgia attack.

  • Some of these songs are not from the 90's...

  • Y didnt u list them...

  • damn though you need hangin around by counting crows and lets rock by smashmouth and puch you ar4ound by matchbox twenty

  • I wish I could go back in time to the 90's. Enough said right there.

  • chuck norris justin bieber vevo yadda yadda thumbs up if you agree!!!

  • @xps1340 fuck off you dumbass faggot

  • This is obviously not a "best of the 90's" vid. It just sounds like an assortment of popular 90's alt songs

  • wtf? y is skater boi here

  • I miss the 90's. A time period of blissfullness. Everything was good. People expressed their individuality but didn't go to the extremes they're doing today.

  • Damn I miss the 90's

  • STACYS MOM!!! :D

  • Some of those are from 1995. I consider 95 to be mid 90s. I usually consider 97,98,99 as late 90s

  • half of it was good, up until Avril. Just put the whole vid to shame to include her.

  • u forgot Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve, Closing Time - Semisonic, and One Head-Light - The Wallflowers

  • Avril?!?!!? omg it was good until then

  • good shit

  • good shit

  • good shit

  • Avril yes, you can say no, but that Canadian hot piece of ass will always be sexy! And LFO? If you don't like that song, then you obviously missed the whole "90s hits" thing you typed into the search bar when you were trying to make a burned cd...

  • Avril yes, you can say no, but that Canadian hot piece of ass will always be sexy!

  • No Splender? Damn! They are such an underrated band!

  • ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR 311 Amber... I like 311 but Amber is annoying

  • Could you make a playlist, like song names and artists?

  • Every song brings back the good ol days, fuck i miss my youth!

  • you need to listen to more music. this list is awful

  • all these songs are about 500 times better than the garbage being produced today...FACT

  • I love the barenaked ladies! I miss my youth!

  • @lgoopio

I get what your sayin...but avril was one of the reasons I quit listening to the radio...so I wasn't happy to hear her...made me remember the downfall of good music.

  • Avril lavigne...really? ....LFO...please tell me those were jokes...thats not alt rock..

  • music was so better back then. What happened?

  • @Bryanstephenkerr As much as I'd like to agree, every generation says "music these days sucks!". It's better to us because it's nostalgic--there are memories & feelings attached to every one of these songs that we may never feel again outside of reminiscing the past . If we were born ten years later, today's music would be the best ever made.

  • @samburger077 agreed

  • @samburger077 no, they just dont make songs like this anymore

  • @Bryanstephenkerr media happened

  • @Bryanstephenkerr justin bieber happened. and everything came crashing down. lol

  • better than ezra,,, fucking rocks,,,,

  • this is how i remember the 90's growin up.

  • Very good collection!!! Profound.

  • wow pretty amazing ^^

  • everything was cool until avril lavine and lfo came along hahahaha

  • hey great vid....

    Deff brought back some memories

  • Funny how I am a 20 yr old Black girl who grew up with parents who listened to mainly r&b, yet I remember every last one of these songs and I have a huge smile on my face right now. It's so hard to find genuine good music now.

  • @olexia07 Thats pretty cool. todays music just isnt as epic as back then. ;)

  • @olexia07 i have to agree! everybody, (including my mom) calls me the "whitest" black girl... but i listened to all this music in middle school and high school. Talk about flash backs. Man. . . good times. How time flies. :)

  • @PrtyPr2 lol I know good times.

  • @olexia07 Well you're a Smart Girl with Good Musical Tastes....You weren't & aren't Limited by Musical Genres/Categories/Labels.....Good Music...Is Good Music.

  • ha this is a good mix i loved stacy's mom. but wheres the blink 182?

  • Nice list...

  • great mix brings bake alot of memories

  • You have a nice taste in music. Alternative Rock is a great genre, my absolute favorite even though "I love more of the 90s-early 2000s songs but still, awesome list.

  • can i say epic win great music kudos

  • Younger, that is. I was about 3/4/and 5 ha But I remember everyhting so clearly

  • I miss being young,

  • @Breeannaaaaa how old are you??i don't think you are that old.

  • @Breeannaaaaa

I'm glad I still am... I was so little when these songs came out but it's like going back in time for me...

  • no oasis?

  • i love oasis, theyre great but i did not put them in this video for some reason

  • @lgoopio

it's ok oasis are more mid nineties not late nineties

  • @lgoopio ''Breakfast At Tiffany's'' was more of a mid-90s hit. 1997-1999 should be cited at the late 90s.

  • @lgoopio wtf? no nirvana?

  • @lgoopio

    no semisonic - closing time??

  • Ok body i see you are the point but remenber we gotta wait more radio station set on.

    Saludos Loreto-Peru

  • Most of these are earlier than the late 90's. I do miss this type of music being played on the radio. What sucks is that we had an alternative station until around 04 it got changed to a FREAKIN rap station. I stopped listening to rap around 2000, and to it is just got worse and worse.

I hope Alt Rock makes a big return in the 10's.

  • i just hope good music makes a return in the 10's

  • saludos loreto-peru

  • breakfast in tiffany i've listened in lima radio broadcasting in 1995.

    saludos loreto-peru

  • haha i love this =) and yes I agree about the song list

  • Why don't you put a list of the songs for the video? For people that don't know the songs?
