I think I got an idea where these comments are going. The problem, if you will, with performing a song from a musical is you can't sing it in an opera voice, nor in a pop-star voice or the feeling will go wasted. A song like this requires experienced musical singers. Steps are good at what they do, however this should not be part of their repertoir; far too slick and obscure for their sound.
