@Barez2011 I had great oportunity to do seva with this Jubily star, Rajendra Kumar, at Ganeshpuri Ashram, Distr. Thane, for an hour. It was not the place for to ask filmi question. I hardly managed to ask about Rafi. He said, ' I feel the whole world as orphan without Rafi .'
Beautiful combination which brings tears into my eyes. Rajendra K the charmer, Saira the the goddess of beauty and Md. Rafi the legend. Feel so sad that those days are gone but leaving behind great memories. Very true that one cannot find words to describe these feelings when I hear this song. A gem, no doubt.
lnatsikap; I couldn't have said it any better, i love to listen to Rafi at night, so soothing to the heart. He is just.....well words can't describe how good he sings
A Supreme melodious and romantic creation by Md.Rafi, music directed by Shankar Jaikishan. Rajedra Kumar and Saira Banu did their Best ,and it was magnificiently picturised. This film Jhuk Gaya Aasman was superbly directed by Lekh Tandon, in 1967-68.
During shooting of this film in 1969, Saira was busy in completing her already signed films. So she lived far away from Dilip Kumar who was 47 then. She was having a really hot & romantic time with her paramour Dharmendra. Saira exposed her entire body (including her V.A.G.I.N.A) in SAAZISH. She was spending time in the locations wearing bikinis, shorts & bra roaming around in the hotel, sea-beach with Dharmendra who used to tightly hold the stunningly gorgeous Saira like his wife.
Saira Banu had a strange masculine hobby. During her leisure time, Saira used to whistle various tunes mostly western & some hindi film songs. Dharmendra used to enjoy this very much and also giving her company. Even Saira used to greet Dharmendra with her perfect whistle made naughtily at him. Everyone knows Saira used to whistle much better, louder & longer than whistle by any boy or any male person. She could not to practise this in her in-laws house after her marriage.
another gem from the master,no comparison if us c from what ever angle u like he is the master.. w miss u rafi saab 31st july was his 29 th death anniversary unfortunely no program was played in indian telivision very sad this is the complement given to this legend totally unfair.... come on guys wake up
Rajendra Kumar was successful due to RAFI SAHAB,...It is only Rafi who could sing such melodies with style and range...NO MATCH FOR RAFI..SAHAB...RAFI WAS RAFI..NO ONE WAS AND NO ONE WILL LIKE HIM......SALLAM TO RAFI SAHAB, SHANKAR JAIKISHEN...JUST GRAND COMPOSITION
Mohammad Rafi the greatest singer in the world ever. what a voice what control, what skill, what range, inimitable even today. Underrated by indian film industry who only awarded him a handful of awards and none posthumously. Just look at the shear number of difficult songs he sang. A pillar of the industry. They should mourn the loss of such talant every night and every day
How I wish I could see the film again.....you are lucky living in a place where you have chances to view/hear such lovely melodies like this song........
True, I have seen it more than five times. Something drags you to it. Re-incarnation, I do not know. Romance and re-birth intertwined into a masala story. Far ahead of it times it was.
No i happened to tour around the country and have seen it in different places. You can't tell these are hi tech cinema theaters but are more like a hall with projector. the print is bad. But I have seen it in my younger days and the movie still holds charm for me.
I'm not an indian and not even living there. From the time I saw the movie in my younger days, this song 'touched' my heart in a way I can't explain.....don't know why.....thanks for replying.....
Yes, true the same feeling touched me when I saw it way back in late sixties. I do not know I was attached to this song in particular and this movie. Some thing made it so mesmerisical and i will see it again and again.
THIS SONG IS VERY CLOSE TO MY HEART.....GOLDEN VOICE...OF RAFI-JI
