I miss this game. It's been about two years since I quit. Since then,I've picked up other MMO's and tried playing them,but always compared them to FFXI. I miss the immersion of Vana'diel. The community was always helpful. There were friends I made there that were just some of the most amazing people. I'll never forget the hours I spent playing FFXI. It is one of the most memorable games I've played,and while writing this comment,tears were coming to my eyes. It's just.. Such an amazing game.

i play ff11 and have played for years, its weird dropping my character to join 14. I get to keep my mithra, so thats good, but man.. so much effort put into my character. not an ounce of regret though, i enjoyed every bit of it. Here's to hoping ff14 is just as good if not better

Start out with six jobs Warrior Red Mage White Mage Black Mage Monk and Thief Unlockable jobs are Blue mage Scholar Dancer Dark Knight Corsair Puppet Master Beast Master Summoner Samurai Ninja Paladin Dragoon Ranger and Bard and to answer the how is the leveling easier they gave us Fields of Valor that gives you additional points along with your normal points and extra cash upon finishing the book . Also FFXI and FFXIV are alot allike they have the same races (different names though) and it may come out with alot of the jobs allready on the game so we don't have to buy a bunch of expansions. Also the graphics have improved considerably and although it's a new world and all it's still basically FFXI just... improved.... and yea so with the new FFXIV there will be a serious drop in the amount of people still playing FFXI... brd for ivnites, sch for practicalness... they make a very good blm or a whm whenever you need one (small manning things they are great)

FFXIV has similarities to FFXI. FFXI is not really as hard as it use to be but it still takes crazy amounts of time. If you start playing now by the time you hit 75 and start getting gear FFXIV will be out lol

now a days you need like 5-6 75s with decent gear to be even considered in a top linkshell unless you want to do sky with noobs and wait years in line for gear. unless you get lucky. then you have to get a top shell for landkings etc...

lol i never said "noob gtfo" let me rephrase that. if you do a sky event or sea or hnm whatever with people who have never done it before or a lot of people who still need gear from the god/hnm/mob then you will be waiting for your gear for a long time.. I use to help newer players all the time but the armor progression rate was a lot slower than if you're in a more experienced shell. and "decent gear" just means better gear than AH bought gear. rare / ex / relic gear / god gear /landking etc

I just want to say that I don't believe everyone will switch to FF 14 and I don't think it'll be dead (even though my friend keeps saying it's gonna be) though alot of people will probably switch and a few servers will most likely die out cause nobody will be playing em especially the ones with small amounts of people, I doubt that many people will pay for both so yea FFXI will probably loose a considerable amount of people to the new FF online... Just saying...

I always found it hard to beat anything because it was hard to get people. Also for most things you have to compete with other people alot which gets annoying and leads to many hours wasted. I still like it 10X more than WoW though just because wow feels so childish. Its cartoony and the races are all really gay...

I am still playing this game even after 6 years, this game is very memorable, and not just that but it has one of if not the best storyline. I tried WoW and didn't care for it, it's too easy. well there is level sync which allows u to take the level of a party member lower than u and that occurs for all party members so in theory u culd lvl to 75 in the dunes no lol but ude get sucky skillups ummm its not really a grindfest anymore i mean its still timeconsuming but after ur first 75 after uve done the G quests its not that bad gettin a 75 anymore not like it used to be, any 75 after ur first is alot of fun to lvl

this game takes a lot of time out of your day. which is why so many people cant keep up. A lot of the content is endgame (atleast 1 level 75 job). Its fun, and way better than other mmos out.. its just the time commitment that makes it very difficult to keep playing.

Artist is Cruia who use to play on Leviathan and is on Bismark currently. BLM do use a lot of MP to cast spells but they have a natural trait called "Conserve MP". If you ever level BLM you will notice that most of the time your MP for spells will be cut greatly.
