Can't leave out Chris Farley, he was another one who left us too soon. Sitting there dressed like a gigantic female infomercial host, busting at the seams... literally. lol.
I was such a huge Phil Hartman fan... still am, actually. He could do it all and then some. How incredibly sad and tragic for him and for his two children. They went off to bed after saying goodnight to their parents, never imagining it would be the very last time they would ever see their parents again. I really hate Mrs. Hartman or "Brynn" for killing him... seriously, WTF??
The best part of SNL is when people screw up. I mean, look at all the most memorable moments! Chris Farley breaking the table, Eddie Murphy telling the audience to shut up... I think one of the problems with SNL today is that it's too rehearsed.
Hello Phil Hartman fans. The campaign to get Phil Hartman his stars on the Canadian and Hollywood Walks of Fame for 2012 is on. Please join our "Phil Hartman for Walk of Fame" page on Facebook. Phil's family, friends, and fans are all participating. Phil's brother, Paul is also working on some animation projects Phil started prior to his death and those projects are also on Facebook. Feel free to hit me up on Facebook for more info. We hope to see you there! Thank you.
This guy was the most talented cast member SNL has ever had. He was hilarious, but he could've excelled in drama or anything else. Besides, who else could slap Steven Segal that many times without repercussion?
I was a kid when he died so I didn't appreciate his versatility and wild talent until my twenties. This video just drove home the reality that there will never be another Phil.
Jan hooks and phil hartman were so good together. Too much talent for one stage, Nora Dunn was also extremely funny. This time had to be the funniest, the smartest and the most talented cast SNL ever had, hands down.
@MrLimborace No not at all. I remember John Belushi, Dan Akyroid days, that was just realy 70's humor I guess, my parents loved it. But this is my personal favorite. I didn't like it too much when Adam Sandler came in, I really hate that fucker.
Phil Hartman is my favorite SNL cast member of all time. He was also clearly loved by his fellow performers. I remember one of the prime time SNL retrospectives aired fairly soon after his death. Most of the SNL cast members from the late eighties/early nineties appeared as a group to introduce a tribute to Phil and they could barely hold it together. John Lovitz spoke for the group and he was a wreck. Very sad.
There's a reason why Fry in Futurama is named after Phil Hartman, he was an absolute magnificent comedian. RIP, it's such a cruel twist that he isn't alive today.
He had these 2 broads in 1948..woulda been a 4some but don rickles was late. menopause is long past..they don't ovulate..thats why these ladies they are tramps...
The late Phil Hartman as the Late Francis Albert Sinatra..does not get better than that!
YOUR HANDS DOWN THE MOST TALENTED AND FUNNIEST EVER, PHIL HARTMAN
I'LL NEVER FORGET YOU.
