@Friday13thTaurus lol, while he may be a "real" lifter, you don't have to be enormous like him to be one...i bet you are a scrawny little 13 year old trying to pick a fight
You know what I dont get is 3/4 of the comments have nothing to do with this video or lift. Greg just pulled a 805. Comments should be either you like this video or you dont, simple as that. I lift USAPL but I look at this and say wow great lift. Comment on this video about this lift, 90% of the people that comment on powerlifting on Youtube have no idea what this sport is. Great lift by the way
Agreed. Or, at least, discussion and not a bunch of fucking morons arguing with the one or two people who drop in who actually know what they're talking about.
I actually called this an amazing lift,so I respect the lift..My point is this lift would not be possible without an ungodly amount of steroid use..I'm a 495 raw deadlifter,I weigh 199lbs,I'm drug free,if I were to do juice I would be well over 600 in the deadlift..Panora is strong with or without juice, but 800 without juice isn't possible..
Hermann Goerner deadlifted 727 1/2 lbs.....with ONE HAND! this was during the 1920's.
Jack Shanks of Belfast lifted the "Dinnie Stones" (without straps) He was the first man to do this since Donald Dinnie and Louis Cyr. Total weight about 784 lbs.
There's a few usapl/ipf lifters that would disagree with that, search brad gillingham or brian siders, both drug tested and both deadlift well over 800.
Siders and Brad are both well over 300lbs in bodyweight, and both are seriously genitically gifted..Brad is possibly the greatest deadlifter of all time, and Brian Siders has freaky natural power..There are a handfull of exceptions to the rule..The entire Russian world team was busted for doping..
in deadlift? I'm pretty sure ed coan probably pulled 900lbs at 242 he did 901 raw in full meet at 220 so sure he probably did high 800 or low 900 at 242
Coan actually pulled 901 geared in a full meet @ 220 and squatted 1020 geard @ 220 as well. Coan is very strong, but I saw Panora in this video, so let's stay on task.
