Sorry man but there ain't nothing classic about the 2000XL. The AKAI MPC classics are the 60MKi and ii and the MPC3000. Primo on the 60, Dilla and Dre along with countless others on the 3000. Need I say more? The machines with the Roger Linn logo were made with high quality Japanese parts. From the 2000 model onwards the parts changed to Chinese manufacture and the sound became more tinny. Roger Linn is the joint on any level. Old School New School need to learno!I hope this helps.....
