This was also a man who knew more than a lot of people did about the truest extent of circumstances surrounding Ayrton Senna's fatal accident. He supposedly was able to view the full extent of Senna onboard during the accident at the trial in Italy later in 1994. Alboreto never publicly spoke about what he saw however. It makes one wonder: Had he seen "too much?"
Yeah the car is pretty good shape which is a bad thing. It means it's crash structures where not able to disapate this energy properly. My understanding was that the impact with the ground after the crash cause multiple spinal injuries.
Not to diss anyone here, but that doesn't look like a car that has been through a high speed multiple rollover crash. TBH, it doesn't look badly damaged at all... Just saying.
I had heard that the car flipped sideways over the guardrail and hit the ground up-side down, thus fatally injuring Alboreto but leaving the car in relatively good shape.
I have not seen any evidence that his head was 'ripped off'. To the contrary, based on the description of the accident, I would assume that his head and spine were significantly compressed when the rollbar collapsed and his helmet hit the ground.
Semantics perhaps, but Helmuth Koinigg may have appreciated the distinction.
@tyresandkers I think you overestimate the intelligence of someone who is complaining about a fatal crash tribute, in that i sincerely doubt this idiot's ability to read
@TPBX225 yes, he turned into the corner but the steering wheel locked. he tried to wiggle the keys to stop the steering lock from sticking but even by shaking the steering wheel and wiggling the keys it still wouldnt unlock, he pulled up the handbrake and tried to drift out but cartwheeled over the barrier. his head hit the barrier as the car was upside down and broke his head.
Your video ?? and video text says you're an idiot. This is another video where the only reason there are more than 10 - 15 'views' here is because of NO rating system in the browse section- that's a good thing overall, but it means we all have to put up with "I-need-to-be-noticed crap" like this.
@SuperDrKas Okay, one, I never said it was "my video". Second, aside from your comment, nobody's called me an idiot. And third, it says in the title that this is a photo. What the fuck did you think would be in this video? If it was actual footage I would have said so. So just take a Midol or something and calm the fuck down.
