  • Hows syntha 6 never tried it but i really want to and what flavor do you recommend?

  • @xxxpurexxxstrength I like the taste of the Caramel Latte'. Not very filling though. When I do drink protein shakes I'll usually do half Syntha and half Muscle Milk. Best wishes brother.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness okay thanks for the feedback big guy

  • How many calories is that?

  • @wiseguydoss Usually just count grams brother. Not sure.

  • mr ny....its roids....lol.... good video...thanks!

  • @ejaracil Thanks for the support.

  • my buddy eats like 2 high protein meals and he is jacked is it genetics

  • @MrNewyork1966 Not sure brother.

  • would it be ok to take a protein shake w/ oatmeal in it in the morning?

  • @CoDVaRiaTionZz I do that on occasion. Don't see why not.

  • Respect!

  • @GiveMeAcooky Thanks brother.

  • when you said if your hungry get up and do some cardio. I was wondering is it alright to do cardio without eating something before hand. if i dont eat something before working out or cardio i always get sick and have to vomit. is it something i am lacking in my diet or something else i should know.

  • @irishfury Cardio before eating is my favorite and feel like I get the best results that way. But I always put some fuel in the tank before I work out. I get sick too if I do not.

  • Thank you for this video man. My biggest thing right now is trying to learn how to manipulate my diet. I've cut my carbs down a lot and increased my protein. Still trying to learn how much fat I need (everything I eat turns to fat ha ha) Will definitely use your channel as a resource.

  • @OrangeHealthReviews Welcome. Glad to have you.

  • varyy helpful. happy the twins introduced

  • @sdichari099 Awesome. Thanks for coming out brother.

  • that helped alot thanks so much, u made eth clear.. but 1 question if u dont mind, 6 meals a day or eatin every 2 hours? cuz thats what i do now eatin every 2 hrs....

  • @arsenaly9 Just depends on how many hours you are awake during the day. Just make sure you are getting your required grams.

  • @flinagin Thanks, glad you like the channel. No, I usually do not even drink the mid morn and mid day shakes when I have enough whole foods. So I would def. not add whey to a whole food meal. Each individual is different. It might work for some but not for others.

  • Do you use a coffee grinder to grind OATS to put in a shake? I do that all the time. Helps with extra calories. My question is does grinding up the OATS reduce their nutritional value????

  • @royfudgloy Great idea and I wouldn't see why it would reduce it's value.

  • Hey BigJ....how does your meals look on sick days?....I'm not quite sure whether to cut down on carbs since alot of ppl tell me that I should not change my diet at all when sick regardless of whether I'm working out or not...

  • @480al If I'm hungry I eat, but I keep my intake lower since I will not be burning as much fuel. Eat for the occasion. If you need lots of fuel pour it in there. If not back down a bit.

  • Why shouldn't you eat oatmeal at before bed? And what is a weight belt for?

  • @MriBackup Weight belt explanation at 1:15. And I do eat oatmeal before bed on heavy training days.

  • im not sure bro how many fats i should be eating im a newbie in the nutrition side so i could not say whats ur advice on how much fat thanks bro

  • are these maintenance meals or you trying to gain weight/size?

  • @batterycock There's an explanation every meal on the video as well as a lengthy description.

  • im cutting how many yolks should i eat

  • @stackindatpapa Would need a lot more information than that. Just figure it in to how many grams of fat you are wanting per day would be the easiest answer I can give you.

  • thanks man, this was just the video I was after.. Can you show what you would eat if you were cutting? And do you have a cheat day or cheat meal once a week or so..?

  • @grimmersnee I just did a video entitled Carbohydrates the secret to Bodybuilding. Check it out, it should have some great answers to your cutting questions. Thanks for watching and yes, I agree, a cheat meal video is in order.

  • Awesome vid as always! I was wondering how you grill your chicken. I cook mine on the bbq and i was wondering what way you use to know when the chicken is done. Do you use a thermometer or just good of fashon cutting it open? Thanks as always!

  • @MeKimTrinn Thanks brother. I have a vid of it cooking I'll throw up next. But I always smoke or grill and no thermometer, good old fashion cut it open, eat some if it's ready, leave it on if it;'s not. Thanks for the support.

  • Loved the advice big jay

  • @Beinamonster Awesome. Great YouTube name.

  • For breakfast, I really love Lui Marco's shredded wheat and whey protein. 2 scoops of whey protein in water, with 2 or 3 of the shredded wheat bars packs huge amounts of good complex carbs, high quality protein, and fibre. That keeps you full! Shredded wheat also happens to be fairly cheap when it comes to cereals. Oats with a little bit of cinnamon and maple syrup are great in the morning too (real maple syrup is slow digesting). Great informative video Big J. Intensity rules!

  • @NauticalDisaster Thanks.

  • @smwvikings44 For sure brother.

  • YEA!!!! EGG YOLKS!!! I love eggs and oatmeal!! power breakfast!

  • @FitLossophy For sure brother.

  • A large breakfast doesn't weigh you down when you're training?

  • @WatchVenusSpa Usually do not train till later in the day but I need LOTS of food to be able to train. If I train on an empty stomach I usually get pretty sick.

  • Big j, what is your take on front squats, i do them in addition to my back squat, is it whise to do them separetely or in one workout?

  • @xMATJz I like front squats. Usually do them on a lighter leg training day.

  • Milk + Integral Cereals all-time, 2 Eggs at 2 or 3 Days

Chicken Home Grill 3-4 Times per Week ( a small grill I put on the cooker stove which does a bit of smoke but not too much )

A Chocolate Bar almost Every Day :D or Any Other Healthy Snack like Chocolate Bar ( only several times per week is the most healthy )

Soup almost Every Day ( is Good For Digestion, quite important, it Helps you to be Less Constipated, and It Can Be A Good Amount Of Nutrients [sometimes I eat only soup] )

  • @ddf0dr1v3r2 Thanks for your comment.

  • Question: what is the best way to do deadlift? I have seen knees lock/ bending or doing both style work. I seen your deadlift video, and seen video clips where they lock the knees.

  • @decoysupreme Chose what does not injur you though the entire lift. I use more lowback than most lifters. Some use more glutes and hams, others use tons of lat and traps.

  • Great, great video. I always wondered what you ate during the day on/off training. It's cool to see exactly what you're fueling your body with. Looking forward to the next one, take care.

  • @dannyjingu Thanks, will have one up mid next week.

  • who else thinks that BigJ is taking over youtube! THIS IS GONNE BE "THAT" Channel on youtube!!

  • @DeepHouseification Hey thanks for all the support my friend. That's and INTENSE statement!!!!!

  • DON'T WAKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND EAT PEANUT BUTTER---- BAAADD MOVE!!!

  • @TheONEadam12 LOVE peanut butter. But yes, so heavy to try to go to sleep on.

  • can you reccomend a calorie calculator for a clean bulk..

  • @TheONEadam12 I honestly do not count calories. Check out my video, Carbs for bodybuilding, the secret formula. It should answer some of your questions.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness if you`re ever in the boston area let me know bro!! Itd be awesome lifting with someone who isnt scared of heavy weights and rage against the machine haha

  • @Pen1980IM Will do brother. Thanks for the invite.

  • That was a shit load of food, but actually not as much as i would of guessed for someone who is 260lb. Thanks for showing us

  • @boby6 My pleasure. I'll have to record a cheat day for you guys soon. It's uuuuuugly. Ha, ha.

  • Really nice video!!!

  • @gsmlocks Thanks for watching.

  • Big J talkin with a mouth full of ice cream haha

  • @minhoak Yep, it was GOOD too. Had to film that clip several times.

  • And people say I eat a lot.. wow Big J that is a lot of good food though.

  • @danielnator Gotta fuel the machine brother.

  • Great vid bigJ!

  • @crazymallu Thanks Crazy!!

  • Good video..thanks. Question-- do you eat organic or cage free eggs and organic chicken breasts? I have not myself since the price is too expensive, but value your input. Thanks!

  • @tomconjalka I do on occasion and it's a better route to take, but as you've said, FAR more expensive.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness Thank you for your reply. It is greatly appreciated! Intensity rules!

  • Great video bro

  • @luckynine19 Thanks brother.

  • holy crap 20 egg whites in one meal, insane lol! The ice cream scene where you said take 4 was hilarious. Good information in this video, thanks

  • @hercule50 Ha, ha. Thanks from the bottom of my ice cream tub.

  • That is alot of food man! I thought I was eating alot lol..

  • @Pen1980IM Gotta fuel the muscle brother!!

  • Excellent video.. Learning more every single day.. INTENSITY RULES!

  • @skipcloudwalker Thanks Skip.

  • I cannot stomach enough eggs to get the protein I need. I wish I could. So, I actually do luimarco's suggestion. I have a chocolate protein shake and pour it over my plain shredded what cereal with one fruit. It is fantastic. I look forward to eating it for breakfast. Although you could eat it anytime. 100% perfect bodybuilding meal no matter if your cutting or bulking. Just alter the portion size accordingly. What do you think J?

  • @Brianp1982 Yes I absolutely agree. Lui is an inspiration to us all..

  • great vid Big J, nice and simple :} and those chicken breasts look amazing, keep up the cooking haha and thanks for the weight belt tips

    your boy, Will

  • @wmontano8 Thanks Will and my pleasure. Glad the tips helped.

  • If I eat egg whites without a whole yolk mixed in I get nauseated. Have you ever experienced this? Or know why? It's really weird.

  • @Colyers I've always liked the taste of egg whites. Partially because I add pepper, mustard or hot sauce. Have you tried adding seasonings? Also add your oatmeat in with it, makes it taste totally different.

  • as always big jay ..... the best and coolest man out there! got my wife loving ur channel lol... god bless u n urs ... hope many more vids too come

  • @curry33343 Thanks Eddie, glad you guys are enjoying the vids. Happy Holidays to the both of you.

  • hey man, what was your seasoning on the chicken and how did u cook the vegies?

    p.s SUSCRIBED!

  • @11011111011 Thanks for subscribing. I usually add either lawry's teriyaki or A1 Chicago steakhouse in for a few hours. Then always cook on the grill and add a few sticks of pecan on the side for that good smoke taste. If not grill then for sure on the smoker and leave it on there for a good hour or so. Wrap it in foil to keep it moist the last half hour. Ok, now I'm hungry again.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness lol sorry about that, how do u cook the vegies, cuz i dont find just heating it up taste good. Also can you do a tutorial for how to do deadlift properly?

  • @11011111011 A lot of times I'll cut up potatoes with my veggies, season them, add some olive or coconut oil wrap them in foil and put them in the coals or on the grill. Usually use loads of pepper and some lemon seasoning. I'll see what I can do for a deadlift tutorial. My form is different than most as I use mostly my lowback. I have several back workouts on my channel. Check those out and let me know if any of them help as I deadlift in most of them.

  • Awesome. Good to hear from someone with experience. Btw, as soon as I win the lottery here soon I'm going to fly out so we can workout together. You play the music I like on your gym. Unlike my local techno/dance music gyms. Ugh!!

  • @Brianp1982 Come on out brother. Bring your video camera and we'll train with INTENSITY!!

  • Hahah thanks J! I mean that's what I figured that fibers were important. Is it true that basically they slow down digestion? Meaning that potentially you could stay fuller and also store less fat? Also I know good for vitamins and minerals. I just sometimes throw together meals for work and I do get the protein and carbs i need but I leave out the veggies. They are low in carbs anyways so basically I am just wondering if I am completely missing out on extra progress because of my lack of fibers?

  • @Brianp1982 The older I get the more important the fibers are to my digestion process. I never ate them till a couple years ago either so you are not alone in forgetting them now and again. I say try to get them in brother. They are good for you.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness Mr J i want a favor from you.GO to a Planet Fitness gym and train there and make fun of them as the weights will be inadequete for you...Don't forget to record it with your camera and to upload it....hahaha

  • @kostasphil Ha, ha. Probably not brother. I'd end up getting the cops called on me or something. Thanks for your support.

  • Do you reccomend to make post workout cardio INTENSE? or moderate, like the twins like to preach.

  • @shurdawg I really do not like post workout cardio. Cuts into your muscular recovery in my opinion. If you are trying to gain loads of muscle the first thing you need to be doing is ingesting a form of recovery fuel. But if you must get it in, then my opinion would be moderate.

  • 350 g of protein daily? Wdf

  • @ALGfunk Read the description box. My intake varies daily.

  • damn, i was going to watch it but i have to go before i get to start. I liked the video before watching it anyways :)

  • @hercule50 Thanks for the support brother.

  • do you throw away your yolks?

  • @swifttiga Yes.

  • mmm blue bell...

  • @aTm121200 YES!!! Blue Bell!!!!!

  • hey BIG J wuld u recomend creatine or whey

  • @fateisnear925 I'm really not one to ask since I am not big on supplements. But those two products can be very helpful if taken properly.

  • Awesome awesome. This was so motavating to me because it's Definently were I'm skipping out! Thanks for posting

  • @lambo5277 You are more than welcome.

  • It is awesome that you have a voting about all those different awesome topics, and then decide to do all of them. I am so glad I've been subscribed to your channel for over a year now, Jason. Thank you for all the precious insight! - PilotCube

  • @PilotCube Thanks for the continual support as always PilotCube!!!

  • Hey man, this is a really good video, however being 5'5.5 16 years old and 120 lbs id probably get really fat eating like this. I don't know why but Ive been following a CKD for the past 3 months, and was wondering how you might reccomend me transitioning into a 40/40/20.

  • @jimmyhifly I'll send you a video from my library that will help you with your question.

  • I get full pretty easy which stinks because it's going to suck to try and clean bulk after this diet. I hate feeling bloated. Tips on that if u have time.

  • @Brianp1982 Not sure what answer you are looking for but here's a suggestion. Handle what's at hand now. YOu are dieting so stick to that till the bulking phase. We'll handle that task when it comes about.

  • Great video. I really need someone smart like you to answer this question. How important is it that I incorporate vegetables into some of my meals? What's the benefit? I am dieting right now but was wondering for bulking as well. I am in a caloric deficit but don't have any problem getting full without the fibers. Also, if dieting should we also eat a protein source if we're a little hungry during the night? Please please answer! Thanks!!

  • @Brianp1982 Ha, ha., thanks for making me feel smart. Ok, Yes, veggies are incredibly important and are not just fillers. Fiberous carbs help in so many ways and are needed. Yes, protein is very important to get in during the night, ESPECIALLY if dieting. But remember to only eat for the occasion. You are sleeping so don't fire up the grill for a 20 oz steak. Just a small portion will be fine.

  • Ya, but didn't your grandfather live in a time when they did not process everything so much?? And I am pretty sure he didn't eat 30 eggs a day....WTF?

  • @royfudgloy He just died a few months back so yes, he's ingested everything that you and I take in daily. He was a huge old man and actually consumed up to 15 eggs per day along with 6-8 strips of bacon and spoon fulls of peanut butter. Thanks for the comment. Nice yellowtail catch on your channel.

  • Awesome video BigJ thanks for posting this. Definitely an inspiration to work-out and eat right. I still don't understand how you can keep yourself from eating the whole gallon of ice-cream, if it was me I would've eaten the whole gallon in a day haha.

  • @wowleetomg That clip took several takes before I got it right so I had to take a few more bites that I loaded on the video....Ha, ha.

  • Thanks for the pointers on the weight belt! I'll definitely start wearing one...I don't one my intestines to shoot out of the front of my stomach.....haha... Great vid again as usual!

  • @the1cooljay Yes, we don't want that. Ha ha.

  • Thanks for this vid Big J. Tons of great stuff in here.

  • @CampbellFitness Thanks for watching Bro.

  • hey big J good vid as usual, was wondering if u could give me advice on sleeping, i kinda have trouble sleeping all at once. is it unhealthy to sleep twice a day for 2-4 hours at a time? sometimes i sleep 3-6 hours at night only, then get home at around 5 pm and sleep a couple hours, not sure if this is a problem or acceptable, thanks

  • @FranksLtd I have sleeping problems too. My best advice is to get as much in as possible. We can't recover if we don't sleep.

  • Hey Big J great vid. I had a quick question though. You said if you wake up in the middle of the night hungry, its best to just eat something healthy. However, I was under the assumption that a meal prior to sleep may interfere with your recovery process by effecting your growth hormones. Is there any validity to this statement?

  • @AduhAwas Very possible that it can but in my experience it's always helped me. I say try it out and if you feel like you are growing then stick with it. If you feel sluggish and lathargic after waking several times eating throughout the night it might be negatively affecting you.

  • Awesome vid big J. I would usually eat after a shower in the morning but I'm gonna start keeping a banana by my bed to eat upon waking up. quick and easy.

  • @ninjabic Awesome. Try all the fruits to see which one helps the best.

  • you would have to be 260lb to get away with that much food

  • @wrusst That's what I am weighing brother. All that info is in the description box.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness I know but alot people who are not your size may copy your diet as it was not made clear thats your diet reflects your impressive size and bf. Like people who copy colemans workouts without his special supplements and jump in the deep end

  • @wrusst Hence my BOLD letters in the Description box, PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION. They'll figure it out after the first meal brother.....Too much! Besides I can't do it all for them. They have to put a little time and research into it.

  • @wrusst Just changed the description box again. Thanks for the comment. Hope this helps everyone.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness thanks and sub'ed

  • looks like im on the right track thx, quick question do u count ur fiberous carbs (broccoli, spinach, etc.) as part of ur total carbs for the day or do u just count the fruit, starchy, and simple carbs as ur total carb intake

  • @rampagetapout Awesome. Since it takes a whole cup to get approx 5 grams I usually do not include them in my total. Only taking in 1-2 cups of them daily. Thanks for watching.

  • that's just a sample day right? do you still eat red meats, fish, turkey, rices and quinoas and such at other points in the week?

  • @LTMagic21 Yes, please read the description brother. Thanks for watching.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness oh okay cool. and sorry, forgetting to look at the description is a bad habit of mine. hahah

  • @LTMagic21 No worries brother. I forget to read them as well. Thanks for your continual support.

  • 10-12 egg whites? you buy the carton of egg whites right? because that would be alot of egg yolks wasted, lol.

  • @vONESHOTKILLERv 20 in the morning and 10 at night and nope, the Carton ones taste weird to me and are more expensive where I shop.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness holy shit, you must go through those egg cartons like thier goin outta style lol, if you don't mind me asking, what kind of eggs do you buy? I've heard that some eggs are better then others (nutrition wise).

  • @vONESHOTKILLERv Yes I could build a house with all the cartons I've used. And I just buy the cheapest 30 count I can buy. I know the organic ones are better but they are almost double in cost. My grandfather lived over 100 years and ate the same cheap ones so I'm feeling safe at this point.

  • is the yolks really bad? Can someone tell if it is and if so, then why? :]

  • @Sciii1 The yolks are great source of fat and cholest. Just not 20 at a time.

  • great video. appreciate all the information

  • @franchyze922 Thanks, my pleasure.

  • I love bananas, if I buy a bunch, I'd eat 'em all, then cry the next day.

  • @antoshahorosha Ha, ha.

  • a very informative video, thanks for sharing!

  • @ActionCutter Thanks for the support.

  • Man you are awesome!!!!!

  • @scorpgul No you are. Thanks for the support.

  • Thanks for the nutrition video Big J

  • @johnathanstheater My pleasure

  • are you eating all of those egg whites because you arent having all that much whey protein?

  • @CmmCo99 No, just getting my usual intake in.
