Since he commented he'd trade his largest denominations for real estate, I really like what 'drw' has done here. Nice mix. Folks, no matter how small your town, you're probably within 30 miles of a coin shop. Make an appointment and stop in to learn about silver. If you have the budget, go ahead and mix in some gold. Otherwise, buy bulk 90% silver coins, 1oz bars and 10oz bars.
People keep saying this, but paper money, by definition, is totally worthless. At some point, it really will be.
@masterpatric07 I won't be trading my silver bars back in for dollars, that is foolish. I will more than likely wait for real estate to bottom out and trade my silver bars for that. It's hard to say what and when at this point, but I know that I will not be going from real money to paper fiat currency. That's a given.
@drwfantasyphd of course ,not, when the silver reaches those prices,THE DOLLARA S THE WORLD CURRENCY will dissapear, the devaluation of the dollar,is imminent.no one escapes the economy laws.
I was in argentina and i saw this pattern twice, that leads to hyperinflation. You guys have no idea what it is a hyperinflation.food shortage, massive detentions,if you live in america, get your passport ready, find a nice place where you want to loive and start sending all your assets.
@drwfantasyphd If by any miraculous chance, the dollar does not collapse at the time the silver surpasses gold, then sell all your assets and buy real estate,it will be very cheap maybe ,lower than 300 oz of silver to buy a home. But if you are smarter you will move overseas where the cost of living is ridicuously cheap, and food taste like like glory.that is when you have to sell your toys.it is called wealth transfer.wealth does not dissapear,it just transfer.Do not fall in love with ur silver.
@drwfantasyphd I always wondered about that. Would someone accept a bar worth $100 000 or $10 000 for a purchase of anything? Won't people get scared about not being able to trade it back to fiat currency?
I guess there is always a bank to go to and trade it in for cash. You will lose a bit, but I doubt there will be consumers who will be willing to buy it off you.
@AGL23@AGL23 he is preparing for hyper inflation since we spend print and raise the debt ceiling without control
gold has always been worth the same first it cost 18 dollars and some change an ounce and 100 oz bought a home. today it is closer to 1900 ..... 18 dollars to 1900 dollars i want you to think about that.Gold is still worth 18 dollars value in 1880. The more paper you print the more it takes to buy the same amount of goods.USA will print its death
@AGL23 If we see hyper inflation, any real estate owner you'll meet will be smart enough to take PMs off your hands if he's looking to sell his real estate. The LAST thing anyone with a brain will be worried about is; trading value for paper.
when hyper-inflation sets this guy will be a billionaire.
