The News: A 12 year old boy was exploaded last year for microwaving a Giant Mercury Light Bulb. Footage was seen of the child exploading on Youtube, but was later removed.

This is great microwaving. I did a 15,000 watt staduim light about a couple years ago on my show. It was a burned out bulb from Ram's Football Staduim in St. Louis. It's the largest light bulb ever microwaved by anyone to do date with a 440 volt base. It knocked out four microwaves before the bulb bursted maclover201.

I didn't want to kill my microwave. Apparently you're just being ignorant. Perhaps I will make longer videos once I get a cheap microwave from somewhere. I sent this bulb in to IIAGITMT? as well but they didn't use it for the finale. They will eventually use it for something though. I didn't even have the huge light bulb when I filmed this. I sent a bunch of other stuff too. Whether it works or not doesn't matter. It makes a cool light show ;)

a 175 Watt Mercury Vapor Lamps runs on about 2 Amps at 130 Volts....well look at the Bright side...no Ballast or Socket Required..just Microwave.

Yeah they are. This is a mercury vapor, although there are sodium vapor and metal halide as well.
