@VulpesVulpes111 but, were would the fun be in that? i mean, i spend hours studying my cat and, he has a very fluffy face! i cant help the side fringes, they add depth and make the character look manga. i like manga. plus, human emotions are easy to relate to. i try my best to add the twitching ear and whisker twich but, it dosen't express as much emotion as a tear or an annoyed narrowing of the eyes. from the p.o.v of an animator, i'll tell you that adding humanoid features is helpful and fun.

1. eyebrows I know people have them and theyre a good indicator for expression but that doesnt mean animals do too. cats have a few whiskers above their eyes, a detail a lot of people tend to miss

2. a clean cut line for a mouth: cats mouths tend to come from a divide beneath their noses separating either side of their jawline. not like the the straight, detached mark some ppl draw
