if u have got this game on ps3 and have completed it select chapter and i think its the second to last one when you have to kill that guy with joe that eddie asked u to kill. at the start answer the phone and meet joe outside who will be standing next to a red sports car. he will ask you to get in it orsomething but dont and leave the area without the car. there will be  no police and you will be free to do what you want with the help of joe. ps not sure if it works on xbox

If i run any game maxxed an only get 30 fps i turn shit down rather play a smooth game without a single hitch then have the best graphics with some hitchs at parts where theres tons of stuff going on

One time, I was playing the demo version of this game, I was driving normally, and a car accident happens between a bus and a car, a cop in his car sees the accident and the officer and the guy in the car gets out of their cars and the officer aims his gun at the guy in the car. I just laughed at that, because I didn't cause the accident at all!

Replaced my System PSU with a A/C Stabilizer LOLZZ

MotherBoard Replaced with a Xbox

GPU is Nvidia VooDoo 2 64MB Overclocked to ATI 5970 speeds LOLZZ

and finally Mafia 2 runs with PhysX with 700FPS Owned ;)

I can play this with real physx on high, every completely maxed... Full aa, full af, 1920x1080 30-50fps on my gtx 460 :D owned

@AwesomeKilla25 i have 12mb l3 cache on my q9550 i turned physx on with my hd 5850 and it does lag. It doesn't matter how much cache you have. If you dont have a physx card or a card with physx on board its going to lag

@Dragon4830 Physx is being run through the CPU, not ATI's GPU, without GPU computing Physx gets laggy

@DarkShadow600 I get 40+ fps at max settings, full hd resolution physx on medium only with a 250 GTS non-overclocked and 2.85 Ghz Overclocked intel 6400 Dual core, 4 Gigs also, sucks ati doesnt have physicx inbuild, but personally i dont think the feature is really that great and it drains too much fps too see a bunch of clothes move.

I'm not familiar with the Mafia series of games. Is this like a 1950s GTA or what? It looks pretty fuckin' good. BTW, I have a 5770 in the mail on the way to my house. I suppose I'll be able to run this game fairly well once that's in my rig. Nice video. :D

Even if you have an ATI card you will be able to use Physx but it will use the power of your CPU for that.

physX on medium is playble, but high isnt, according to benchmark with my quad core 2.6GHz, 5770 XxX 1GB, 4gb ram and W7 64-bit I get around 20fps with high physX maxed out, and about 5fps+ more with medium at the scene where you shoot at the cars but when I get inside the house I get less than 20fps (depending on where I look).

@Lolismad man....these developers....they just port the game and do not even optimize it. I can feel the mouse lagg....it is a port for sure. this game isnt crysis...i get low fps too...while cryisis works at 30 fps on my card.

@bleedingroses360 not really a port since ithere's a pretty good reason why we can't play it with physX, since ATI never had support for physX + this isn't the normal physX we see in most games.

And it's not a port. Your lag comes from your slow cpu.

@bleedingroses360 I think it runs smooth with physX on while you drive and low in combat is because physx is most used in combat (Aka destruction physics.)

I'm pretty sure an ati card could handle it, it is just not compatible with nvidias physX.
