I've self diagnosed myself with aspergers, i had a conversation with my family about how "Worried" they are with me.
I Have a twelve grade reading level, and i seem smarter in social conversations than others, i tend to correct others in social situations, and many people find me "Offensive", so i've removed myself from social situations, so i wouldn't make others feel angered towards me.
I tend to do strange things, such as give too much sympathy, and i've stopped caring about my life.
Then go to some proper psychiatrists. Self-diagnosis is a load og bullshit, and is the reason the rest of us who actually suffer from this are bullied and/or mocked.

My boyfriend has Asperger's. I forget sometimes, and get mad at him for things I forget he can't help. For example he'll talk AT me, instead of having a conversation with me, he'll cut me off. He'll hurt my feelings about my appearence, and he'll mak me feel guilty when I say bye on the phone... It's tough but he is lovely and I wouldn't have anyone else...

I am seeking diagnosis now...In high school I had always had very high grades in mathematics and music (and everything else) (in a gifted, accelerated program) but I always felt...left out. And many of the critics that say, you know, lots of people feel left out, I believe that...*it's just different.* Ive known two people with diagnosed Asperger's, one used to be my best friend, and we've always faced the same challenges.

Bad manners is not part of asperger's. That is because you weren't brought up to know and do the right thing in those situations. Lack of empathy is due to a narcissism, which is often due to environmental learning, than biological inclination. However, it can be both, such as with a child with asperger's whose parents did not provide the right training and environment.

I have autism, OCD, depression, and seizures. I do agree when you say people in the autism spectrum are very good at something but very bad at something. My situation is kinda weird though because most autistics are great in math. I am very good at english and history, but I am pretty horrific at math.

actually we dont have "grades" in england. so there is no 6th grade. we have years. starting with reception class, then year 1, 2, 3... etc. until year 11. when you are 16 and complete your compulsory education

@chaoticnewfie Aspergers don't necessarily look different, they just have unique styles that I suppose could affect what people think of them. My brother is an asperger and he doesn't look weird, but there is something about him that "normal" people can pick out that is different (don't get me wrong I love my brother though :)). I am seeking diagnosis now...In high school I had always had very high grades in mathematics and music (and everything else) (in a gifted, accelerated program) but I always felt...left out. And many of the critics that say, you know, lots of people feel left out, I believe that...*it's just different.* Ive known two people with diagnosed Asperger's, one used to be my best friend, and we've always faced the same challenges.

Bad manners is not part of asperger's. That is because you weren't brought up to know and do the right thing in those situations. Lack of empathy is due to a narcissism, which is often due to environmental learning, than biological inclination. However, it can be both, such as with a child with asperger's whose parents did not provide the right training and environment.

I have autism, OCD, depression, and seizures. I do agree when you say people in the autism spectrum are very good at something but very bad at something. My situation is kinda weird though because most autistics are great in math. I am very good at english and history, but I am pretty horrific at math.

actually we dont have "grades" in england. so there is no 6th grade. we have years. starting with reception class, then year 1, 2, 3... etc. until year 11. when you are 16 and complete your compulsory education

hey I have AS it sort of is a depressive disorder as well as ADHD OCD Anxiety and all sorts of Aspects I look up alot of pyschology and I could tell you so much about Aspergers (btw please stop responding to Idots they will only hurt you trust me)

Asperger isn´t a depressive disorder. Just because it might lead to being picked on and such doesn´t make it a depressive order.
Also, most of these idiots are trolls. Idiots don´t hurt me, they humor me.
And they FROWN on your angry reaction. That is the ENTIRE goal of trolls and bullies who pick on you for being sensitive.
If you ignore them and their insults, they will find yo boring and eventually stop bothering you.
